<span itemprop="description">A very useful little spoon, makes an easy scoop for the matcha, and helps me get a consistent result. I don't think it's really necessary to have, if you're fine measuring your matcha out yourself or have a similar measuring spoon, but it is a nice little convenience.

A level half-teaspoon of matcha matsu powder weights about 0.85 g, or 850 mg. Assuming this spoon holds a half-teaspoon, as other posters have indicated, means this spoon will also hold 850 mg.
