It is dominated by light grassy notes that one might associate more with a green tea, though not extremely vegetal, and it is also vaguely floral in a way that is difficult to pin down exactly. I tasted some buttery notes on the finish, and also detect a bit of the snow pea sweetness mentioned in the description, but it's not as sweet or pronounced as in the Nepal White, for example. This is a good quality oolong. The leaves are beautiful, a pleasure to watch unfurl. In my opinion, this is a tea best enjoyed by someone who has already developed a palate for green and/or oolong; I'm not sure a casual drinker would fully appreciate the subtle-teas (look, now you guys have me doing it too!).
Date published: 2023-04-22

Rated 1 out of 5 by Johnny from Tea leaves changed, not strong like before This oolong tea changed recently, I have been purchasing this tea for many years now.
