DAVIDsTEA Return Policy

We hope you love shopping at DAVIDsTEA as much as we love working here. Not head over heels with your latest purchase? We will gladly return or exchange unused items within 30 days with the original receipt. We offer full refunds and exchanges on unused tea accessories, and in-store exchange or store credit on unused loose leaf tea, food, sweeteners and beauty products. We do not currently offer online returns on loose leaf tea, food, sweeteners or beauty products. All refunds will be processed using the same method of payment as the original purchase. Returns with a gift receipt are eligible for exchange or store credit only. All gift cards and sale items are final sale.

How do I return something?

In store purchases

Purchased something at one of our locations and wish to return it?

For items purchased in store that you wish to return or exchange, simply visit your local DAVIDsTEA. Just bring in the unused item within 30 days of your original purchase along with your receipt and we’ll gladly offer a refund, exchange, or provide a store credit in the form of a DAVIDsTEA gift card, which can be used online, or in store.

Please note that we currently do not accept online purchases to be returned at any of our DAVIDsTEA locations. Additionally, we do not accept in store purchases to be returned to our online store.

Online purchases

Purchased something online and wish to return it?

For items purchased online within the last 30 days that you wish to return or exchange, simply fill out our Contact Us form. Please make sure to include your order number, and list the items you wish to return, and we’ll reply with instructions on what to do next.

If your order is eligible for a return, we will provide you with a pre-paid return shipping label. Purchases can easily be returned by mail (free of any return shipping or handling fees) if you use the prepaid return label.

Please note that we are unable to refund your original shipping charges, if applicable, unless the return was a result of our error. Please allow at least three weeks for your return to be processed; you will receive an email confirmation once your return has been processed. Note that your financial institution may take longer to reflect the transaction.

We do not currently offer online returns on loose leaf tea, food, sweeteners or beauty products. If you’re unhappy with your purchase of one of these items, please feel free to complete our Contact Us form, and we’ll get back to you with a proposed solution.

What should I do if my order is wrong, damaged or incomplete?
