We will gladly return or exchange unused items within 30 days with the original receipt. We offer full refunds and exchanges on unused tea accessories, and in-store exchange or store credit on unused loose leaf tea, food, sweeteners and beauty products. We do not currently offer online returns on loose leaf tea, food, sweeteners or beauty products. All refunds will be processed using the same method of payment as the original purchase. Returns with a gift receipt are eligible for exchange or store credit only. All gift cards and sale items are final sale.

IN STORE

The fastest, easiest way to return or exchange items is by visiting your local DAVIDsTEA. Just bring in the unused item with your original receipt and we’ll gladly return, exchange or provide store credit for eligible items within 30 days. Find your nearest store here.

ONLINE

Can’t make it to a store? Just fill out our customer service form, and we’ll get back to you with instructions as soon as possible. We do not currently offer online returns on loose leaf tea, food, sweeteners or beauty products. If you’re unhappy with your purchase of one of these items, please visit us in store or complete our customer service form.

For orders over $50, shipping is free anywhere in North America. Shipping across borders may incur additional fees. For orders under $50, we offer a flat shipping rate of $9.75 anywhere in North America.

Unfortunately, we only offer shipping within North America for now.

On our Canadian site, we accept VISA and Mastercard credit cards, and PayPal.

On our US site, we accept VISA, Mastercard and American Express credit cards and PayPal.

We also now accept gift cards.
After you’ve added your items to the cart, select checkout and enter your shipping and billing information. On the billing tab, you’ll enter your gift card number and verify your gift card balance. You can then apply the amount to your purchase. If your card doesn’t cover the full amount you can pay the remainder with another gift card (up to 3) or with a credit card or through PayPal.
You can check your balance two ways. Firstly, during step two of the checkout process your balance will appear when you enter the gift card number and click apply. You can then decide if you wish to proceed with the purchase. Alternatively, you can check your balance here.
When your order is complete, we send you a confirmation email with your tracking number. Just enter that number on the carrier’s website to see where your shipment is at.
We’re sorry to see you go! Unsubscribing from our newsletter is easy. Just click unsubscribe at the bottom of any email from us. Alternatively you can contact us and we will do it for you.
This is definitely frustrating – we understand.

Here are some possible solutions to try out:

  1. Make sure you’re typing in the right email address and password. You might not have registered with your primary address.
  2. Try not to copy and paste the email and password – this sometimes adds an extra “space” into the password that you aren’t able to see.
  3. If you can’t remember your password or it’s just not working, use the FORGOT PASSWORD link on the login page to have it reset and sent to you.
  4. If you still can't log in, please contact us at customerservice@davidstea.com and we'll take a look!
No. If you make a purchase on the Canadian site you must use a Canadian shipping and billing address.
