Scoop loose leaf tea into the outer sleeve and add hot water to the fill line.

Fill the inner compartment with ice and slide it into the outer sleeve until just above the tea.

Finished steeping? Press down to stop the infusion.

<span itemprop="description">Been using mine a couple weeks now and I love it. It really does ice the tea instantly, with lots of space for ice. The seal of the press works great with minimal leakage, though mine appears to have an indent in one spot that can't be straightened (not sure if this is intended). Only downside is the mouthpiece isn't leak-proof, so the press does need to be kept upright and not shaken. But for the price I can't really complain! I've used looseleaf tea and tea bags and both work great. The peach tea iced is my go to for summer!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I simply love this. Ever want to make iced tea and drink it RIGHT NOW, rather than waiting during the cool down period? This makes it possible to make your iced tea and immediately drink it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't end up icy cold like it came out of the fridge. But it works in a pinch and makes it cool enough to drink it right away. A product can only be -so- perfect, right? If I want it cooler, I might consider throwing it in the fridge for 20 minutes or so just to cool it down more.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought 2 of these and have used them maybe 10 times each. Both have become plugged (maybe?) so that when you press down, the tea shoots up the sides and leaks out, it does not enter the ice compartment. I have tried washing, scrubbing, using a baking soda vinegar mix and nothing has helped! Disappointed as they are 30$ each!</span>

The brewing instructions are labeled on your tea. Usually it is 1-2 scoops. Read the label on your loose leaf tea, put in the amount stated and then fill the outer cup with hot water to the fill line. Let steep. Then slowly add the inner cup with ice.

Can you just use the Iced Tea Press for hot tea, meaning no ice just let the tea cool naturally but slower that in a traditional cup. &nbsp;I want to see my tea and drink it as it naturally cools. &nbsp;Not sure if the material can handle heat for extended times.

Hi, I purchased this steeper and there is a piece on the inside that attaches to the lid I am unable to get out. The picture seems to say this comes out to out the ice in. Wondering if anyone has any advice?
