I was surprised at the negative reviews here, so I had to write my first review and chime in. This is a wonderful-tasting tea and it makes me feel good every time I drink it. When I make a cup of this for my husband, who is very picky, he always remarks how good it is without even knowing what tea I've brewed. It's a staple here.

Okay everyday tea, except..
I drink this every day with lunch and while I enjoy it, I'd only really buy it on sale because it's nothing particularly special taste wise and considering I drink it every day, the price is a bit too steep. None of the flavoures stand out a ton but that's what makes it good: it's a nice balance between the tea notes, orange peel, and ginger.

I'm a sugar fiend. I put a tonne of sugar in my orange peakoe tea. Drank pop and energy drinks. Wanted to get a bit healthier so I tried this. It doesnt nees anything. I've been drinking this during the day and fruity herbal teas at night with no sweetener and barely ever have pop anymore.
So pleased with this. Will be buying more once my current stash gets low.

Hi AlanaMS! I first tried this tea at a David’s Tea store in Toronto while walking around shopping with a girlfriend. She loved it and swore by it. It tasted really good, but seemed strong. We left to go to an out of town event and I thought I was going to have a horrific accident while driving and thankfully was able to get to a highway gas station just in time! Omg. It was so awful and embarrassing. Nothing like this had happened before or since—this was 12 years ago in September 2012. I was really curious about why I had such a severe digestive reaction since it was midday and I had my usual breakfast without any issues, so I spoke to some very knowledgeable associates about it the next time I went to purchase my usual herbal teas. They also confirmed that there aren’t any laxative aids added to this blend and suggested I may have a good sensitivity or that the blend was steeped for too long or too strong. For context, I’m a longtime IBS sufferer and have tried many digestive teas without issues; but, none were as delightful tasting to me as this one. I took a chance. I bought a ton of loose leaf and I tested with 1 scoop instead of 2 and I steeped for 3m at first. It worked wonderfully! I’ve been a regular customer of this digestive tea since then without any issues. I’m sharing this with you in case you, like me, may have sensitivities to very strongly brewed digestive teas. I recommend you try the loose leaf so you can control the amount and time the steeping to the minimum at first to see how well you tolerate it. If you don’t have any issues, try 1.5 scoops and 4m — that’s been my ideal brewing and amount for optimal benefits with zero cramping, nausea, bathroom emergencies, etc. I hope this is helpful for you. I’d hate for anyone to ever almost have a mortifying accident while driving on the highway or elsewhere 😅 Wishing you good health! Steph
