With the balance of the bergomot earl grey, the tea does have a quite a tang&quot;, and if what is scooped into your cup is not balanced, it can taste &quot;too tangy&quot;. So add a little plain Earl. I loved it my first few cups , and also found some moments are not for this flavor. One reviewer commented on an unpleasant medicinal smell the next day. Well toss the post-steeped leaves outside. Clove and pumpkin/carrot ARE going to smell lousy if wet and left to off-gas! I say try it, use the recomnended amount/time for steeping, add a bit more earl or plain black tea if you need.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-11-29</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-11-29" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="248800709"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Tea with Jann</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Falls new best hug.</span> <span itemprop="description">I&rsquo;m still stunned at how much I loved this new blend. From the smell to the first taste, simply amazing. If you enjoy cream of earl grey and you like pumpkin chai, just imagine they gave you the best hug at the same time. It&rsquo;s so well balanced, nothing is overpowering, everything is playing so well together, like the best musical band. I enjoyed it most hot (with nothing added), which is how I enjoy most of my teas. Second up was as a hot latte. Beyond excited to welcome this tea into my home (and not just for the fall). Welcome done DT team.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-08-09</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-08-09" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="253926258"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Midgardia</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Really Great Tea!</span> <span itemprop="description">I'm a fan of Earl Grey, it's what I have all the time. But for the most part, I find that loose leaf Earl Grey is hard to steep properly without it ending up bitter. So I stick to the cheaper bagged stuff. I also happen to love everything pumpkin so when I saw this, I HAD to give it a go. And I'm glad I did! This tea is really aromatic, and slightly spicy like a chai. It is not bitter and much easier to steep than other Earl Grey loose leaf I've tried. If anything, my only complaint is the lack of 'Earl Grey' taste. It's more pumpkin chai tasting than anything else, which I don't mind at all. I've tried it with some Hazelnut creamer too, and it was really good, so I imagine it makes a GREAT Latte too!</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2022-01-20</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2022-01-20" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="250093878"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">4</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">nicolenotnichole</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">What I wanted</span> <span itemprop="description">I love earl grey and have drank up to 3 cups of it every day since I was about 14. I wanted a tea that had a bit more of a fall flavour to it but retained the caffeine content and light bergamot flavor of my favourite tea. This tea delivered. The smell is not particularly offending (something becoming more and more common with David's tea) and the pumpkin flavour is light. It is herbal without any creamy notes. I do not like creamy notes to my tea since I prefer to add milk after for when I am feeling like it but also have the option to drink it straight. I would prefer a bit more spice, to really amp of the fall flavours, perhaps a bit more of the cloves and some cinnamon. Overall, this tea lived up to my expectations and I am happy with it. I would buy it again.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-09-25</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-09-25" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="249146923"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Cordelia</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Amazing blend for fall</span> <span itemprop="description">I bought this tea after receiving it in my subscription box and loving it, I was a fan of the pumpkin cream coldbrew from Starbucks, and this has the same vibes as it, but without the heaviness of cream! It is super good hot or cold, I would totally recommend it for any time of year.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-08-22</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-08-22" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="249114859"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Tea is Me</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Overpoweringly medicinal</span> <span itemprop="description">I received this two days ago - very speedy delivery. I normally enjoy Earl Grey tea and those that have pumpkin in them. This is not one of them. My husband and I had the first impression of paint thinner but I ignored that and I brewed myself a cup last evening. Unfortunately it was not to my liking at all. Very overpowering flavour. I'm not sure if it was the bergamot or the cardamom but it tasted of nothing else. This morning I was met with a medicinal smell in my kitchen, like an herbal disinfectant, only to realize that it was the leftover leaf from my tea last night. Overall very disappointing.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-08-21</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-08-21" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="251822941"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">mslang5130</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Nailed it ! Perfect harmony</span> <span itemprop="description">This is the perfect harmony of pumpkin spice ( not over powering) and earl grey. It gives me great energy and makes me feel happy. I have had issues with some teas with candies in it such as pumpkin chai (gives me headaches) but with this tea I still get the pumpkin + the caffeine without the headache. Blissful ! Please make this one a seasonal permanent although I would enjoy this year round. It makes everything better. Its been my go to morning tea at work and it really sets the tone for the day. Unbelievable what teas can do !</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-11-19</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-11-19" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="268218415"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Landon</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Works best as a latte</span> <span itemprop="description">Brewed as a regular tea I have found this blend enjoyable, if not breathtaking. It's fairly balanced between the pumpkin and bergamot; neither is too overpowering. The overall flavour is less sharp than a typical earl grey, but not as pumpkin forward as Pumpkin Chai, for example. I would probably have rated it a 4/5 until I tried it as a latte, which was AMAZING. The ingredients all work together much better in a latte, making a delicious pumpkin chai tinged London Fog.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2023-04-04</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2023-04-04" /> </div> </div> <script type="text/javascript"> if (document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection')) { document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection').style.display = 'none'; } </script> <!--end-reviews--> <!--begin-pagination--> <ul id="bvseo-paginationSection"> <li class="bvseo-paginationItem"><a class="bvseo-paginationLink" href="https://www.davidstea.com/ca_en/tea/pumpkin-earl-grey-tea/10935DT01VAR0093374.html?bvstate=pg:2/ct:r">Pumpkin Earl Grey Tea Reviews - page 2</a></li> </ul> <!--end-pagination--> <ul id="BVSEO_meta" style="display:none!important"> <li data-bvseo="bvDateModified">y_2024, m_10, d_22, h_7</li> <li data-bvseo="ps">bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_3.0.42</li> <li data-bvseo="cp">cp_1, bvpage1</li> <li data-bvseo="co">co_hasreviews, tv_24, tr_71</li> <li data-bvseo="cf">loc_en_CA, sid_10935DT01VAR0093374, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=RELEVANCE, direction=DESCENDING)]</li> <li data-bvseo="diagnostics">clientName_davidstea</li> </ul> <!--end-bvseo-reviews--> <ul id="BVSEOSDK_meta" style="display: none !important;"> <li data-bvseo="sdk">bvseo_sdk, dw_cartridge, 18.2.0, p_sdk_3.2.0</li> <li data-bvseo="sp_mt">CLOUD, getReviews, 5ms</li> <li data-bvseo="ct_st">reviews, product</li> </ul>
