<span itemprop="description">This tea is true to its name. It tastes just like a chocolate macaroon. I do find this tea to taste better the longer it steeps. A sweet chocolate taste followed by coconut. This was tasted awesome hot, iced or as a latte. I do find this one not to need any additional sweeter as the rock sugar in this tea makes it sweet enough.
I still remember having this tea for the first time, I had a free tea coupon and asked the tea guide to pick any tea for me. This is the one she picked and made was I glad she did. I can't say I would have picked it myself, now its a stamp in my cabinet.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is normally a 5 star tea for me - it is my absolute favourite and I have been buying it for years and years. The only reason I have given this a 4 instead of a 5 is because my most recent purchase. Something has changed in the recipe, it doesn't taste the same at all. I don't know if it's a temporary change due to ingredient sourcing (it's been sold out a lot this year) or if this is a new formulation. If it is new, I beg the decision makers at David's Tea to go back to the previous recipe! :'(</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love Read My Lips tea. This has unfortunately been discontinued, so Chocolate Macaroon tea is suggested as a substitute. I don't know how macaroon is supposed to substitute for mint. I have really tried to like this tea, but I don't care for it at all. The tea is oily which is just wrong for tea. My husband bought this for my birthday and I had to tell him never to get this one for me again. I keep checking back for Read My Lips but it is no more. Why?? I thought that chocolate mint black tea was popular! Chocolate macaroon black tea is nothing like it. I picked that this tea tastes sweet and decadent. It does - way too sweet and much too oily.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Ten plus years ago, I discovered the David's Tea stores. I had at least six tins at my work desk, and was known as the crazy tea lady. The prices were amazing, and the products delicious. Fast forward to March 2023, and my opinion has changed. The formulas have been modified, fake sweeteners are added without labelling, and the quality is no longer there; it's all about novelty and no attention to quality. This tea is a great pot pourri, but does NOT taste as it smells. All I taste is sweetener, and it's leaving an awful aftertaste in my mouth. The tea itself is weak, and flavourless compared to the scents you get during steeping. This is garbage, and I'm so disappointed.</span>

Although ensuring consistency in our teas is one of our top priorities, due to the natural variances that occur yearly when working with agricultural product we are constantly reassessing the source of our tea blend ingredients.
