I buy a lot at a time... 250-300 g. My last order arrived (shopping online as my local store was a victim of lockdowns), and I didn&rsquo;t think twice before opening the bags and transferring them to my large tin. When I went to use the tea I discovered the blend is not what I am used to! Terribly licorice heavy! I hate it! I&rsquo;ve dug down hoping it was just the one bag but I&rsquo;ve tried about 5 times now and it&rsquo;s all the same. Did they change it? Is this just a bad batch? I have wasted $60 on this last purchase. I have loved this tea for a long time and always bought it in store so I bought 250g. It was very disappointing to have all bags lack that mint flavour that is normally there as well as an additional taste of some unknown spice. And I have been a die hard user and follower of Davids tea for many years now. This is as natural and organic as a tea can get. To clarify - it's a green tea with a mix of ginger, peppermint, cardamom, licorice root, clove, black pepper and fennel that gives it a robust, flavorful taste with every sip. The spices it has, due to my heritage is something I know that has many health benefits and also aids in digestion. Each of them have a health benefit to it. I often have them in the evening or night as opposed to a caffeine-infused black tea or earl grey in the morning. This is no different. It is a green tea that helps me relax and also has it's own health advantage. It is refreshingly minty and also has a slight tinge of spice mix to it. That was over 10 days ago and the company has still not processed my order. They were really quick to take the money - it was processed the same day. the company online call robot is giving out messages about delays because of the holiday season and just asks that I be patient. I don't like paying for something without an expectation of delivery.
