Japanese vs Chinese green tea
I consume Japanese green teas for long time. A Japanese friend delivers it from Japan . I can tell which one is which from the start. No offence but your tea lacks the intense taste and flavour of the Japanese sencha or gyokuro. To me, it does have similarities with Chinese green tea, where the taste and flavour is much less accentuated. Although, Chinese green tea is more bitter and lacks the flavour too. But It’s worth drinking it, just because of the benefits it provides. Thx anyway, I won’t buy it again though.

I'm very disappointed
I used to buy Japanese sencha from davids tea regularly, it was pretty good, especially for the price, it was my favourite tea. But this time I received old sencha. It doesn't have scent at all, in order to get any taste I have to add 3 perfect spoons per cup and brew it for 10-15 minutes, and even after that taste is very plain. I've noticed that lately quality of all of their teas dropped, and I'm very very sad. I used to love David's tea so much.....

Customer service
I really love the tea! I enjoy it with a little lemon! However, I don’t like having to purchase $50 worth at a time to receive free shipping, although I do appreciate the cost. I’m disappointed in the customer service since Covid. It takes at least a week to speak to anyone.
I’d prefer to have less packaging and I don’t need more tins. I wish I could just get my tea in 1 bag to be environmentally friendly and I’ll reuse the tins I have at home. There are really no options on your site to make special requests like this

Simple
It's overall a decent tea and have enjoyed it very much in the past; perhaps this is just me but I feel like quality is dipping a bit. The tea itself has a smooth taste but you need quite a bit of it for full flavor. I typically use 1 and a half PS for it. It smells as a green tea should and that pleases me and the family I share it with. If you can't drink it as is then I suggest a small spoon of sugar or honey. Aside from the change in quality, I wish you would stop providing multiple 50g bags rather than 100g+

Very nice flavour, but a cloudy tea. I tell myself the cloudiness is "extra antioxidants" but who knows. I don't find the cloudiness objectionable. I have noticed that if you over steep it even a little it gets very bitter.

Very smooth
I've had this sencha many times and it always delivers. The packaging matters because sometimes the iconic tins will have older product that is visibly inferior with a flavor that has lost it's smoothness. You can avoid this by getting it by the pouch instead.
As for flavor, it's a very smooth sencha with a slight buttery mouthfeel and subtle vegetal notes. I've tried dozens of different senchas from different prefectures of Japan and this one sits in my top 5 for sure.
