Rich & complex, Organic David’s Darjeeling was specially selected then carefully blended to ensure the perfect balance. Aromatic woodsy leaves steep a golden brisk liquor while unique & refreshing mountain air notes mingle with a hint of the classic Darjeeling muscatel flavour—like an ever so fresh breath of mountain air on a chill morning. Truly the champagne of teas.

What makes it great:

  • -This delicate tea is a First Flush Darjeeling, a type of Darjeeling that’s harvested during the first picking of the spring season.
  • -Often served with dainty finger sandwiches and sweet treats; Darjeeling teas are a popular staple of traditional Afternoon and High Tea.
  • -Skip the milk! This blend tastes delicious on its own.

How to Steep

The aroma before steeping is indeed very woodsy, like a forest in spring time, with a hint of sweetness reminiscent of snow peas. The leaves turn green when steeped, and the liquor is a deep amber hue. Once steeped, there is also a subtle maltiness evident both in flavour and aroma. Overall, this is much more delicate than most black teas with a complex flavour profile that rewards slow sipping -- more of an afternoon black than a morning black.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2024-03-27</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2024-03-27" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="283388785"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Sandra</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">More like green tea</span> <span itemprop="description">This is nothing like any Darjeeling I've had previously. Based on the leaves themselves, it appears that the package is about half green tea, and it tastes like green tea. It also has the same bitterness as green tea when oversteeped.
