<span itemprop="description">First, I need to disclose that I work at DAVIDsTEA—but that has nothing to do with my review. This tea is SO. GOOD. I'm super caffeine-sensitive so I really only get one cup of caffeinated tea a day, in the morning. I have loads of herbals and rooibos teas that I drink in the afternoon, but they're mostly fruity and a lot lighter. But Coffee Break... If you're caffeine-sensitive and need something rich and full-bodied, THIS is the tea. I add a bit of oat milk creamer and it tastes creamy, roasty, and ever-so-slightly chocolately. Big winner!</span>

<span itemprop="description">As far as coffee imitations go, this may be the best David's has put out (...second to Coffee Pu'erh, of course). It is similar to Espresso Yourself, but still quite distinct. There are bitter notes (from the roasted carob??) that remind me of coffee beans, along with sweet hints of what could be a vanilla or maybe a hazelnut creamer. It really tastes like a quality drip style coffee without being coffee - if that makes sense. If you are a recovering coffee addict, this is surely the perfect tisane for you.</span>

Starts to taste better the more you drink it! Doesn't need any sweetener at all, but I don't enjoy stevia or sugar in my tea anyway. Great iced just as is. Well done on this one!...but still Coffee Pu'erh is #1</span>

<span itemprop="description">When I am telling you that this tastes exactly like a cup of coffee, it does lol. I was expecting a very watered down, weak taste and I was completely wrong! This has the strong coffee flavour to wake you up in the morning but without the jitters in the afternoon or stomach aches.
I'm trying to cut my caffeine intake and this will definitely help to cut it out completely!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I don't drink coffee because I don't like the taste and bitterness, but I LOVE this drink. So rich and warm tasting, like a pu'erh tea. I don't find it bitter. I add a lot of milk to it. No sweetener necessary for my taste. Chicory is in the same family as ragweed and I have a lot of allergies so I don't drink it as much as I would like, in case it compounds my fall allergies. It doesn't seem to bother me if I drink it once in a while though.</span>

Is the Organic Coffee Flavouring made from actual coffee beans/shells? I love the smell and taste of coffee, but I&rsquo;m allergic to something in real coffee, so if it&rsquo;s not actually coffee, I might be able to drink this.
