Delicate white tea is the least processed of all the tea types. Just plucked and dried, it’s as close to the living tea bush as you can get. So why is it called white tea? Because of the fine silvery hairs covering the camellia sinensis buds. With its gentle flavour and sweetness, it’s one of the rarest teas in the world.
