Capacity 16oz

Guess what. We totally reinvented the travel mug. Not to overstate it, but this is probably the easiest, cleanest, most versatile way to steep hot and iced loose leaf on the go. What makes our Light Grey Tea Press so good? Just add your tea to the double-walled stainless steel mug, let it steep, then stop the infusion by sliding the press all the way in. That's it. Hit the road. No wet tea bags or infusers necessary. And if you want a cold one? Just add ice. This might actually be the only tea accessory you ever need.

I can no longer use them because it has become impossible to clean the filter that keeps the tea leaves in the bottom of the mug. If I try to use the press boiling tea comes spraying out of the mug everywhere. These were $34 so I expected a bit more than 6-8 months of use out of them before they broke. It would be one thing if new filters were even available but they are not. I’m not even trying to brew something with a lot of small particles...just a standard Earl Grey. I have never been so disappointed in a piece of tea ware that I dearly loved at first.
Date published: 2020-12-30

Rated 3 out of 5 by AshleeJ from Impressively Leak-Proof, but IMPOSSIBLE to clean TL;DR: Don't get this is you're ever going to forget to clean in immediately. I bought this (in a different color) in store about 6 months ago. I have been continuously impressed by how leak-proof it is - seriously, I can just throw it in my bag and it never leaks. That being said, one Friday I forgot it in my bag and didn't take it out until Monday and it was one of the worst mistakes I ever made. The filter and all of the gaskets had gross black mold on them. This bottle is IMPOSSIBLE to clean. After a half hour and a few broken nails, I was finally able to break the bottle down into 8 (!) individual pieces, including painstakingly removing the 2 gaskets from the lid. Even deconstructed, I still has to use a sponge and 2 different kinds of dishwashing brushes to reach all the nooks and crannies - it was a nightmare! If you decide to get this, WASH IT IMMEDIATELY and hopefully you'll never have to face the dreaded mold inside the lid. 3 stars because it does work great and is leak proof, but seriously the most difficult thing to clean that I own.
Date published: 2020-08-28

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wendy969 from Easy to use, perfect tea I bought this 2 months ago and use it almost everyday. Perfect for work. I made my friend a mug of Cream of Earl Gray and immediately lost my mug and a full tin of said tea! My friend, how is mainly a coffee drinker, loved it! But it wouldn't take the review so I had to give this product a one star. I received it as a gift so unfortunately I cannot return it. The concept is great. However the design is flawed. With the rubber gasket at the bottom of the clear insert- once you push it into the outer mug; it is impossible to pull it out again. How do the others that give this a high rating pull the plastic insert out. Even with no liquid in the clear insert, I could not pull it out. Finally, using a thin butter knife I was able to release some of the suction between the insert and the mug created by the gasket. After much struggling, I was able to wiggle the insert from the mug.
Date published: 2024-01-25

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tearrific from Easy to use! Easy to clean! I bought this tea press because my boyfriend has had the black one for several years and he loves it. I love the fact that it keeps the tea so hot for so long. It beats any mug any day of the week! The color of this one is definitely more like sea foam green than light gray, but I like it. Of course, one minor downside to the light color is the mouth piece quickly became tea stained. All-in-all, I love how easy this is to use for making loose-leaf tea and for cleaning.
Date published: 2024-01-19

Rated 2 out of 5 by Mugged from Travel mug I bought 3 bottles of travel mug that lids were fragile.
