I bought two of these and they are both having the same issue. I have not had them for even two months. I have not put them in the dishwasher and have been hand washing them.</span>

The double layer style is really amazing at keeping your tea warm and your hands not. I love the coordinating lid which doubles as a holder for the strainer.</span>
