It&rsquo;s fruity and delightful. I know many say it&rsquo;s tart, there&rsquo;s a slight tartness but it&rsquo;s not extreme. Cherry pie is more tart than this is. The only way I can explain the flavor is that it tastes how I expect Valentine&rsquo;s Day to taste. It&rsquo;s also delightful with a splash of milk. This brews up more red than the image shows, rather than a faint pink. It smells just like sweet tart, and of you brew it just slightly longer than recommended it will taste just like one too! I love this at night as it's caffeine free. But after drinking it, i realized i had nothing to worry about. the tea is sweet, tart, delicious, and i'm so glad i got it! i'd definitely recommend if you like cherry! I must say as a hot tea, I was a bit jarred by the taste at first. It really is a tart cherry! It's delicious! As a tea drinker, I will admit that I needed a few sips to really get used to the tartness of the tea. I'm used to my teas being a bit more traditional in the warm, chai, earthy tones and not necessarily sweet or tart, which was what I needed to acclimate to. Am ordering more and hope that it stays a regular item for a ling time. You can really taste the cherry and it turns a beautiful reddish color. I like it both hot and iced and it seems to shine the most over ice.
