<span itemprop="description">I was disappointed by the quality of the Matcha Maker. The plastic thread of the parts that screw together are poorly finished. I struggled to get the pieces of the Matcha Maker apart and then struggled again to put it back together. Once I used it to make a cup of matcha, I tried drinking the tea from the Matcha Maker but it felt uncomfortable to do so. I ended up pouring it into a cup. There were several ounces that refused to leave the Maker due to the plastic lip it is designed with. The matcha tea powder and the bamboo spoon are fine. However, I regret buying the set.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought this set because I wanted to try matcha for the first time. The shake tumbler seemed easier/simpler to use and clean than the whisk and bowl method. This set was great! I also liked that I got to try three new flavors at once, especially since one was a more dessert flavor (vanilla) and one a fruity one (peach).</span>

<span itemprop="description">The set is super cute, the cup is easy to clean, and the matcha is delicious! Just a couple design complaints: the lower part of the lid is difficult to put on - it doesn't slide in but has to be popped into place. And getting the powder into the tins was a bit of a mess...the bags clearly weren't designed to be squeezed into a small space so they had ripped in a few places, meaning we had to open them over a bowl and try to transfer all the loose, fallen powder from there into the tins, losing some in the process.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I'm not a matcha novice but this kit interested me as a convenient way to make decent matcha on the go. However, the poor reviews kept me hesistant but eventually I decided to buy it. I'm so glad I did! I think these reviews are incredibly harsh on the mixer bottle, it is really convenient, and screws (almost excessively) into 4 parts for thorough cleaning. The matcha that comes with the kit is a good variety as well. I almost wish I had bought the other matcha on the go canister thats not a kit, because my only gripe with the mixer is that its really small.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The tea is really yummy, but the shaker isn’t great. It’s really hard to screw all the different parts together, the seams never line up properly. When you pour the tea out a good bit gets stuck in the sides so you have to unscrew everything to get all the tea out. Mention, all of this screwing and unscrewing is happening with hot tea which feels dangerous and like disarming a bomb. I really wish I got a bamboo whisk instead. Maybe it will get better with use but it is so frustrating now.</span>

It is not glass, but plastic. They do offer a stainless steel option on occasion, so keep checking back for when it is available again. That is the one I have had for years and absolutely love it. &nbsp; ~L.

This Matcha set is wonderful, and yes you can make &quot;iced&quot; matcha simply by making it according to the directions, hot, then pouring the matcha over ice and even adding your creamer of choice to make it a latte. I hope this helps, and pray you enjoy it as much as I have. &nbsp; ~L.
