I regularly ordered & consumed >20 cans every 1-2 months. After becoming allergic to chocolate, this blueberry matcha powder became both my favorite tea and snack. Yes, think Pixie Sticks without the stick. I found it delicious. Imagine my horror when I discovered that they were planning on adding Butterfly Pea Flower (bpf). Why do I object? It’s not because BPF is trendy and unnecessary, but because it is incredibly BITTER! The entire recipe was DESTROYED and is now inedible and undrinkable. I now have 10 unopened packets of the new Berry Blue Matcha I can’t return, can’t best to throw out, and can’t give away in good conscience since it’s such a nasty, unpleasant, bitter powder that makes me nauseous and with a nasty aftertaste for hours. Incredibly frustrating that a perfectly delicious recipe was ruined for no reasonable reason and obviously without adequate consumer testing - none of your loyal customers would willingly give up a time honoured recipe gor an uncertain fad with a nasty bitter taste.
Date published: 2024-04-27

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ashe Leigh from Like the La Croix idea of blueberry matcha Absolute garbage. 0/5 stars.
