Its really big. The package suggest 3 - 5 scoops, but that would empty my container and would be waaaaayyyyyu too strong. You only need maybe 2 of these scoops for a very strong large cup of David's brand matcha. Would not recommend following package instructions on the matcha with this spoon. It's great for their loose leaf tea, just not matcha which is why I bought it.
