The top ring is only connected to the basket at two small points, and eventually they just disconnected and fell apart. Useless without being connected. Very disappointed. My whole family drinks tea and we usually use the David's tea 32 oz steepers to make tea for all of us but I use this for when I want something different than the rest of the family. Easy to clean and fits nicely over most of my mugs.
