Teal Matcha Maker

However, I made tea this week and the bottom screen popped off while I was shaking. The ball now free flowing in the tea while I shook it.. I was so confused what happened and tried it again a second time.. Same thing. Well good news is - it still makes the matcha, but now it pops apart every single time.... The product needs a bit more refining, but I understand that this is gen 2 of the matcha maker (gen1 probably was the no pull apart apparatus). Getting closer guys!! R&amp;D folks -&gt; I'd recommend a lock or &quot;key&quot; that can clip on and off for easy cleaning, but will prevent the pull apart nature of the two components. I purchased mine two months ago after my ceramic matcha bowl broke. It looks like such a cool, multifunctional product. However, it does not live up to the promise. The description on the webpage notes, &quot;This DAVIDsTEA exclusive also comes with a shaker attachment for your matcha and a tea infuser for loose tea, so you get two travel mugs in one.&quot; However, it most definitely does *NOT* come with an infuser for loose leaf tea. I assumed the mesh strainer on the top was made for that purpose and attempted to use it that way; but the mesh is not fine enough, and the tea leaves fall through into the cup. Likewise, if I put the tea into the strainer and brew the tea with the Matcha Maker upside-down, the loose leaves fall into the tea when I turn the unit upright to stop brewing. The pressure release, which seemed like such a great idea, sprays me with hot matcha at least 50% of the time--just unscrewing the top is a much more reliable way to release the pressure without getting doused. And, as some other users have noted, the mesh bottom of the agitator now falls off every time I shake my matcha.
