<span itemprop="description">It's a good cup for what it is supposed to do. I really enjoy having the interchangeable attachments.
But unfortunately, the quality isn't great.
My cup, no matter how perfectly you put on the mouthpiece, leaks. If you look at it, the metal ring is crooked too.
The matcha attachment works well, but now it's unable to be cleaned all the way. The bottom of it is threaded onto the barrel portion, but the glue/seal as broken (or something) and now has matcha stuck in the threading. I've soaked it and tried my best to get it out, but it's still there. You can't unscrew it, unless you completely break the sealing, and I'm nervous to as I'm not sure if it'll truly stay on after. I used it every day for a week before I had noticed. Now I no longer use it.
When I received my cup, right out of the package, the metal mesh filter for loose leaf was jammed into the bottom of the cup. The filter is tapered slightly and was incredibly difficult to get out of the cup. I had to use handles of kitchen utensils to try and slide it out. Took 45 mins before it finally came out. It was such a poor way to package that. I almost damaged the mesh filter I had just received.</span>

<span itemprop="description">From day one the pressure release button has been a complete bother. What's the sense of a shaker that leaks through the top. The rubber seal under the button is a joke and the spring is easily spoiled!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I've been using this to make Matcha at work and for about a week and it was great. However, I made tea this week and the bottom screen popped off while I was shaking. The ball now free flowing in the tea while I shook it.. I was so confused what happened and tried it again a second time.. Same thing. Well good news is - it still makes the matcha, but now it pops apart every single time.... The product needs a bit more refining, but I understand that this is gen 2 of the matcha maker (gen1 probably was the no pull apart apparatus). Getting closer guys!! R&D folks -> I'd recommend a lock or "key" that can clip on and off for easy cleaning, but will prevent the pull apart nature of the two components. (I do engr for a living, sorry)</span>

<span itemprop="description">Was very excited about this travel matcha maker. It does make matcha well but unfortunately it leaks out of the top. It either leaks out of the button on the top, which does not do anything on mine, or out of the sides on the lids. I’ve tighten them as much as I possibly can and it still leaks. Hard to make matcha when it spills everywhere.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I only got to use this once before it broke while I was trying to clean it. I was GENTLY rubbing the top screen to clean it and it popped through leaving sharp, jagged edges making it unusable. I know a lot of people are mainly complaining about these because they are so hard to get the shaker part clean but I haven’t seen anyone mention their screen breaking. Maybe I just got a defective one.
When I did get to use it though, I loved it and it worked great to keep my matcha mixed and hit.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Useless! Unable to be cleaned due to cap being sealed permanently. David's Tea is well aware of this issue and continues to sell this item for some reason. It would've worked pretty well otherwise. I do agree with other reviewers about the tea filter being jammed into the cup. Ot was very difficult and time consuming to get it out. Why would they store I like that? If these 2 issues are corrected then it would be worth purchasing. Until then...Stay away!!!</span>

I would not put this item in the microwave since there is metal on it. You are best to heat the water separately.
