They're domed and aren't at all stable when inverted to hold the (not included?) infuser and there is no way to use the lid as a coaster for the mug. This lid design is awful and unstable. Nothing like the Nordic mug lids. Overall mug feels cheap and handle is thin. The lid does not double as a saucer as described since it is not flat.
