The pitcher is great, and I love that you just steep right in the pitcher. It overall works super great. BUT. The issue is that when pouring the tea there isn&rsquo;t a overflow hole... so the spout is trying to get both air and tea out at the same time. I ended up finding a mostly covered hole in the bottom of the lid and the drilled a small hole through that when the lid was in the &ldquo;open&rdquo; state. Now it works great and I have no problems.. but DavidsTea really needs to fix that hole issue for people who don&rsquo;t have drills!</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-06-13</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-06-13" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="233317829"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">Mrs Shark</span> from <span itemprop="name">Pouring spout is laughably small</span> <span itemprop="description">I have to give this 1 star even though the majority of this product is excellent. The problem is that the hole from which the iced tea is supposed to be poured out of is so small it's comical. The iced tea comes out at a glacial pace. It's really ridiculous and I wonder how it passed prototyping with this issue? I end up unscrewing the whole lid just to pour the tea as I don't have time to wait for my cup to fill up using this tiny hole. I kind of regret purchasing this even though it is handy to make iced tea. This flaw just doesn't make it worth it. David's Tea, you need to change the spout size!!</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-06-09</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-06-09" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="236232652"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">Liz09</span> from <span itemprop="name">Poorly Made</span> <span itemprop="description">My first issue with this product is the same as everyone else&mdash;the pour spout is so tiny, you only get a trickle, and it&rsquo;s very awkward. I was willing to look past it though, not the end of the world! But then after only 4 days of use, I realized the mesh had ripped along the bottom where it doesn&rsquo;t seem like it was glued down that well... The mesh is also yellow because I made the mistake of putting a tea in it that had turmeric, so now it&rsquo;s probably stained for good. But that&rsquo;s probably my own fault for not thinking it through. All in all, just a very cheaply made pitcher.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-08-19</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-08-19" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="233507179"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">2</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">Jaymi</span> from <span itemprop="name">Small pour spout</span> <span itemprop="description">As there is another review that details it perfectly, I won't go too in depth. The tea making experience is pleasant. However, the pouring experience is abysmal. Fluids flow through the pour spout so slow. I think if you were to drink directly from the pour spout, it would still be too slow. I spent far too long trying to put my tea into a cup. I ended up taking the lid off instead. It was also very hard to clean the tea leaves out of the infuser. It took numerous attempts and again, far too long.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-06-12</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-06-12" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="233494158"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">zdmsea</span> from <span itemprop="name">Drip..drip....drip....</span> <span itemprop="description">I purchased this pitcher over the weekend and just got it in the mail yesterday. I used it this morning and it was a disappointment! Even though parts of the product seems to be great for making cold brew or iced tea (i.e., the infuser, size of the pitcher), the spout is TERRIBLE. When you pour the tea out of the pitcher, it comes out at a snail's pace! I think it does this because there isn't an opening for it to vent. Similar to the other review, we just ended up unscrewing the lid and pouring the tea out that way. I don't recommend purchasing this....wish I didn't buy it!</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-06-11</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-06-11" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="236244231"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">2</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">air0220</span> from <span itemprop="name">Almost</span> <span itemprop="description">Wish I had read the reviews. The color, detachable infuser, and price caught my eye. The pitcher was not created with a release air hole so that when you go to pour, the liquid comes out at a snails pace. Who designed this? Also the L-shaped handle snapped off on mine after two days. It&rsquo;s a soft plastic that was held in place by a screw that probably made it weak to begin with. I got this pitcher last week. So bummed. The infuser is the only good thing about it.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-08-19</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-08-19" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="233554703"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">Band geek</span> from <span itemprop="name">No additional hole for air</span> <span itemprop="description">The pitcher pours insanely slowly. They did not include a small hole for air to get into the pitcher to replace the liquid that is leaving. This means that the air is entering the same hole the liquid leaves from, slowing the liquid down. If they do this one thing, it would be amazing.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-06-14</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-06-14" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="235530018"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">texasgirlincali</span> from <span itemprop="name">No vent hole and started leaking within a month</span> <span itemprop="description">This pitcher is perfect for fridge doors and small households plus it's cute. Was so excited to get this but I should have paid attention to the reviews. Tea trickles out at a maddeningly slow place because there is no air/vent hole so I just started unscrewing the lid to pour tea. Then about a month's after I purchased it I accidentally knocked it over on the counter top when it was about half full and it started leaking everywhere. I didn't notice this issue previously because I have been unscrewing the lid every time I pour tea. But the next time I washed it I filled it up with water, screwed the lid on tightly and tried to pour just water through the opening and it was leaking all around the neck where the top screws to the carafe. So disappointed with this purchase!!</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-08-02</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-08-02" /> </div> </div> <script type="text/javascript"> if (document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection')) { document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection').style.display = 'none'; } </script> <!--end-reviews--> <!--begin-pagination--> <ul id="bvseo-paginationSection"> <li class="bvseo-paginationItem"><a class="bvseo-paginationLink" href="https://www.davidstea.com/us_en/teaware/soft-blue-favourite-pitcher/904201US01VAR0064177.html?dwvar_904201US01VAR0064177_color=Soft%2520Blue&bvstate=pg:2/ct:r">Soft Blue Favourite Pitcher Reviews - page 2</a></li> </ul> <!--end-pagination--> <ul id="BVSEO_meta" style="display:none!important"> <li data-bvseo="bvDateModified">y_2020, m_9, d_25, h_15</li> <li data-bvseo="ps">bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_3.0.12</li> <li data-bvseo="cp">cp_1, bvpage1</li> <li data-bvseo="co">co_hasreviews, tv_0, tr_10</li> <li data-bvseo="cf">loc_en_US, sid_904201US01VAR0064177, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=RELEVANCE, direction=DESCENDING)]</li> <li data-bvseo="diagnostics">clientName_davidstea</li> </ul> <!--end-bvseo-reviews--> <ul id="BVSEOSDK_meta" style="display: none !important;"> <li data-bvseo="sdk">bvseo_sdk, dw_cartridge, 18.2.0, p_sdk_3.2.0</li> <li data-bvseo="sp_mt">CLOUD, getReviews, 12ms</li> <li data-bvseo="ct_st">reviews, product</li> </ul>
