<span itemprop="description">I typically shy away from teapots — I have had too many that are unbearable to clean, (eg. Ceramic and need to be scrubbed inside because of tea staining), too heavy, too large, or too small. This one adheres to the Goldilocks effect of tea making in my home: It’s just right. Which means I have already used it 3x even though I just bought it at DAVIDsTEA today! It’s such a breeze to clean; so far I’ve washed it up with dish soap and it’s good to go for a fresh pot in seconds, though I see you can put it into the dishwasher too, which is quite convenient. You can see how well your tea is steeping: another added benefit. The capacity is ideal for 1-2 people and the quality of this pot seems to be quite high. I very much recommend it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I absolutely love the Glass Teapot! I have used it nearly everyday since I got it. I love watching the tea steep as each of the leaves open up and the water changes color. My only complaint is that I wish the top cap would hold onto the teapot more securely. When I serve the tea, I find myself holding onto it keep it from falling off and breaking.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love this Teapot. I've tried several others from places like Walmart and was really hesitant to buy this, but I just couldn't pass it up on the Black Friday sale. It's very fragile with thin glass but an authentic feel. I love watching my hot water go from clear to the color of my teas The infusers come out for easy cleaning. I would only recommend hand washing it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Bought this for my son who wanted a teapot and some teas as X'mas gifts. But I really like it very much in person after it was delivered. I had bought a jade colour ceramic one at David'Tea (in store) around 6 months ago which was very elegant looking and I still love it .
This glass one is smaller but good for 1-2 persons. It's clear that would be interesting to watch when the tea steeping. Just one little disadvantage you need to be very gentle and careful when holding or washing it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">It arrived with a huge crack on the handle and the pot. My boyfriend took it out to open it, and found the crack. It looked like dirt, so when he washed it, he set down the lid. It slipped into the sink, like, rolled down the towel, and shattered everywhere. We spent a ton of time getting shards out of the drain, and I ordered a replacement from amazon instead. I figured it would be thicker glass, since it has to withstand heat, and it would not shatter so easily. Seriously would not recommend this product at all.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The teapot is small, cute, and useful. You can heat water in it in the microwave (careful, hot glass). Unfortunately, the lid fits very snugly with the diffuser in the pot but VERY loosely without the diffuser in the pot. I did not realize this, and the lid fell a very short distance and shattered the second time I used it. So, now I have a teapot with no lid. Beware!</span>

No. The teapot is meant for service only. I have a separate kettle for heating water, then I steep my tea in the glass teapot.&nbsp;
