After it was discontinued and then brought back, I was so thrilled. However, this is not the original blend and I was very disappointed. It had been a very creamy/maple flavour and now tastes much more like apples. The sour flavour that comes from the apples makes this more of a fruity tea as opposed to the original rich flavour of a rooibos tea. Wishing still for that old Oh Canada blend. I was horribly disappointed to discover the recipe changed sometime in the last year, this is NOT the same Oh Canada. The wonderful maple flavor has been replaced by apple and cinnamon. Would be good for Fall. I never tried the old one to use as a basis, so I'm not sure if it's supposed to be more maple than apple. It honestly and objectively tastes like hot apple cider, meaning strong apple and cinnamon flavor. I could see this as a great tea for the Fall, but it doesn't really taste like maple as advertised. I still like it as a tea and it's warming because I love hot apple cider. I did add milk and honey after the initial tastings and it muted the apple a bit more and the honey semi enhanced a maple kind of flavor, but it still tasted strongly of cider. Still a good tea if you like that! I think the little maple leaves are cute, but I don't think they're necessary or add anything to the tea itself as far as flavor, and maybe there are sprinkles that have natural coloring used like beet root base since they're red?
Date published: 2020-05-18

Oh Canada Reviews - page 2

y_2020, m_9, d_24, h_16

bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_3.0.12

cp_1, bvpage1

co_hasreviews, tv_22, tr_22

loc_en_US, sid_10777US01VAR0056997, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=RELEVANCE, direction=DESCENDING)]

clientName_davidstea

bvseo_sdk, dw_cartridge, 18.2.0, p_sdk_3.2.0

CLOUD, getReviews, 8ms

reviews, product
