<span itemprop="description">I got a themed Sips by box, and this was one of the teas featured. I really wish the maker of this tea had forgone the stevia. It leaves that sickly aftertaste associated with artificial sweetener. I much rather would've like to take the sweetening process into my own hands instead of having to taste the stevia.
As far as the color change (which is not currently influencing my overall rating), it was violet before I ever even put lemon in it. That makes me wonder if the pH of my tap water is off. The flavor of the stevia is too much of a turn off to take the time to brew again using purified water.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I really enjoyed this one but it didn’t blow me away. The color change when you add lemon, while not drastic, is noticeable and really brightens the color to a vibrant purple. The flavor of this is a sort of berry punch. It’s not necessarily blue raspberry or artificial tasting. Just a melange of berries. Adding a squish of lemon really adds dimension to this tea...the flavors really played off each other well. I have only had this hot. Again, this tea is really delicious and I’m glad I tried it but I prefer other David’s Tea berry blends over this one. :)</span>

My 8-year-old niece drank it while making a face, so I paid her a dollar and we talked about the importance of trying new things. She'd rather have this tea than bugs; I've had bugs, and would rather have them than this tea. Neither of us were impressed by the color change since it's mild, going from a pretty blue-purple to a pretty red-purple.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I LOVE this tea, the stevia usually would give me a headache but when I add lemon it seems to not bother me as much! It works out because the tea without lemon is a little too sweet, the berry flavor is very apparent which I very much enjoy!</span>

<span itemprop="description">This tea wasn't indigo at all, but a rather sickly shade of... Puce? Brownish-pink? Adding fresh lemon didn't have any effect on said icky color. So much for the pretty purple color change that I was promised. The taste would've been better had the tea not contained Stevia extract, which leaves a sickly-sweet aftertaste in my mouth.</span>

Why is my tea not changing color? It starts purple and no matter how much lemon i add stays the same.

It may have to do with how many butterfly pea flowers you have on your glass. Sometimes if you mix the tea around you&rsquo;ll have a more even tea leaf ratio.&nbsp;
