This is the best replacement I have found for the JavaVana Mate from Teavana. I have tried alot of teas, and most are too sweet, emphasizing all the wrong notes. While the Coffee Pu'erh does still miss a little something that I can't quite place, it is a great tea in it's own right. I am glad I have finally found a replacement for my go-to morning tea. It certainly isn't a match for coffee. If I offered this to my coffee aficionado siblings I would be laughed out of the kitchen. This blend is definitely a caffeine boost however you feel about that. Here is my official request for a decaf coffee version of this tea so that I can drink it every day, not just the days that I can manage being a little jittery. Pu-erh has caffeine as well but much lower than coffee and your body metabolizes it differently. I have found a perfect substitute. I purchased this because the aroma was amazing. The flavor is just as good as the aroma. I enjoy this every morning.
