Product Actions

15-20 cups (8 oz/240 ml) of hot tea
10-15 cups (8 oz/240 ml) of iced tea
Lovers of Earl Grey tea adore this creamy alternative to the original breakfast blend. You’ll recognize the same high-quality black tea, the same citrus burst of bergamot oil, the same beautiful grey-blue petals. However this version adds a touch of vanilla, and the result is an unexpectedly rich, creamy taste experience. Try it on its own or as a satisfying tea latte.

What makes it great:

  • A vanilla twist on the classic Earl Grey.
  • Amazing infused into desserts. Try adding a shot to your next custard.
  • Makes a killer London Fog. Just add hot frothed milk and a bit of agave

I wanted to try a more traditional tea with caffeine to transition from my morning coffee. While my taste still hasn't adjusted fully to the taste of traditional, plain tea, this blend is incredible with almond milk and a little sweetener. It's robust and full, so it feels similar to coffee in the morning, but with the benefit of tea. I also like that this is a lighter weight blend, so I get more in a 2 oz. package than a lot of my fruit teas. I can't speak to its similarity to a true earl grey, but I must say, this tea newbie is impressed!</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-03-15</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-03-15" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="253653044"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">Elle D</span> from <span itemprop="name">Favorite by Far!</span> <span itemprop="description">My absolute favorite tea. I make a pitcher in the morning for my teens and I. Half as much milk as tea, vanilla extract and sugar to sweeten. So, originally, I figured I would love this tea. Unfortunately, I really did not like it at all. It smells like perfume and tastes like it too. There's no complexity that I usually love from Earl Grey -- the slight spice from the bergamot with the smoothness of the black tea. All I tasted was very artificial (almost candle-like) vanilla and black tea. I wanted to like this one but I just really, really don't.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-04-25</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-04-25" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="226190701"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">4</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">nekome49</span> from <span itemprop="name">Different from what I expected!</span> <span itemprop="description">I bought this to try out David's tea and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I was a little nervous getting it because of the reviews being either extremely in favor or the opposite. I enjoyed unique smell combined with the taste. The tea smells very creamy and almost milky but the taste is not as strong. The teas itself is very smooth and does not leave a bad aftertaste. Like a lot of reviews mentioned I do not think it tastes very much like earl gray but it is nevertheless very tasty.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2019-11-15</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2019-11-15" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="220653620"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">Eviemylove567</span> from <span itemprop="name">Yum</span> <span itemprop="description">I was curious as to how this would taste since Earl Grey is my favorite in general. Someone mentioned this tea tasted like cough drops - I agree. I thought it smelled and tasted like cherry cough syrup, or artificial fruity candy or gum. It is absolutely nothing like earl grey, and there is no vanilla scent at all. I've tried using less tea, steeping it for less time, with milk, without - nothing helps make this tea drinkable. I am very disappointed and sad because I will just have to throw it out.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-10-27</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-10-27" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="220191254"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">HeatherAnnie</span> from <span itemprop="name">No bitterness!</span> <span itemprop="description">This tea takes the bitterness out of earl gray tea. I enjoy a cup of Earl Grey once in a while, which is just black tea with bergamot oil. I was interested in trying this &quot;creamy&quot; version with vanilla flavoring - maybe it would be like a London Fog? But oof - off the bat, it smells like the &quot;cream&quot; has gone rotten, and didn't improve once brewed. I brewed a teaspoon at 200 for 3 minutes. The taste isn't much at all besides a hint of artificial cream flavor? There's zero astringency - almost like there wasn't tea in it at all - and as others have said, not even a faint hint of bergamot which is what makes Earl Grey what it is. It's like they forgot to add the flavoring to this batch. I definitely wouldn't purchase the full size.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-12-03</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-12-03" /> </div> </div> <script type="text/javascript"> if (document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection')) { document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection').style.display = 'none'; } </script> <!--end-reviews--> <!--begin-pagination--> <ul id="bvseo-paginationSection"> <li class="bvseo-paginationItem"><a class="bvseo-paginationLink" href="https://www.davidstea.com/us_en/tea/organic-cream-of-earl-grey-tea/10076US01VAR0075641.html?bvstate=pg:2/ct:r">Cream of Earl Grey Reviews - page 2</a></li> </ul> <!--end-pagination--> <ul id="BVSEO_meta" style="display:none!important"> <li data-bvseo="bvDateModified">y_2022, m_1, d_13, h_20</li> <li data-bvseo="ps">bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_3.0.20</li> <li data-bvseo="cp">cp_1, bvpage1</li> <li data-bvseo="co">co_hasreviews, tv_292, tr_202</li> <li data-bvseo="cf">loc_en_US, sid_10076US01VAR0075641, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=RELEVANCE, direction=DESCENDING)]</li> <li data-bvseo="diagnostics">clientName_davidstea</li> </ul> <!--end-bvseo-reviews--> <ul id="BVSEOSDK_meta" style="display: none !important;"> <li data-bvseo="sdk">bvseo_sdk, dw_cartridge, 18.2.0, p_sdk_3.2.0</li> <li data-bvseo="sp_mt">CLOUD, getReviews, 7ms</li> <li data-bvseo="ct_st">reviews, product</li> </ul>
