The plastic thread of the parts that screw together are poorly finished. I struggled to get the pieces of the Matcha Maker apart and then struggled again to put it back together. Once I used it to make a cup of matcha, I tried drinking the tea from the Matcha Maker but it felt uncomfortable to do so. I ended up pouring it into a cup. There were several ounces that refused to leave the Maker due to the plastic lip it is designed with. The matcha tea powder and the bamboo spoon are fine.
