In the freezer section of the grocery store, you could find frozen bread dough. They'd let it thaw in the fridge over night, pull it out in the morning and spread it in a round cake pan. They would then let it sit and rise for a couple of hours. Once it had risen, you poked your fingers deep into the dough and filled the depressions with a mixture of brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter with a single raisin. It then was baked and we called it coffee cake. This tea reminds me of that coffee cake. The cinnamon is just a hint, more scent than flavor. The oolong has a nice warm note with a surprisingly strong taste of raisin in the back of the throat which gets stronger as is cools. I&rsquo;ve never had an oolong like it!!!! I love David&rsquo;s Teas oolong tea anyway. There&rsquo;s maybe one or two I&rsquo;ve sampled that I wasn&rsquo;t crazy about. Even still, it&rsquo;s not that I dislike them it&rsquo;s that the others are SO good, it&rsquo;s hard to make fair comparisons. It doesn&rsquo;t taste like cinnamon but does have a cinnamon fragrance and I say fragrance because that really is the word to apply when describing oolong! I love this tea.
