Absolutely Perfect
Okay y'all I would definitely give into the hype on this one. it tastes exactly like a salted caramel no joke. It's sweet, the caramel bits make creamy, the Oolong base makes it light and buttery while also being decadent, and the touch of salt at the end is the perfect finish to this delicious tea. I am so excited to try this as a latte . I wouldn't say I even get any fruit flavor from the pineapple it just adds to the decadence and complexity of the sea salt caramel flavor. If I were you I would stock up on this one because it is amazing it will help your sugar cravings and I don't know how long they're going to keep this tea around. I am completely serious when I say this is in my top 10 teas that David's tea has ever released!

always too sweet, always artificial
I got this as a free sample in the halloween 2022 countdown. I LOVE caramel, and my favorite matcha from David's is the salted caramel, so I was so excited to try this. At least it doesn't have stevia. Well, it's still so sweet! No caramel, just tastes like sugar. Like artificial sugar. How is that even possible? I've tried a lot of the David's teas, and generally don't like them because all of the teas have stevia or are too sweet or taste artificial. I really only drink the matcha and collect the nordic mugs. I drink A LOT of tea from so many different brands, and David's is just not my favorite. I will add this to the long list of David's teas I sadly don't like.

Makes a Delicious Latte!
I used my 2 ounces of free tea to try this oolong, and now will definitely be purchasing more! It makes a wonderful hot or iced latte with strong caramel notes and a mild salty taste. Hot, without milk, the salt notes are more pronounced and the caramel taste is lessened. It's drinkable plain but not as enjoyable, which may explain some of the bad reviews. This is a tea that's meant to be made into a latte, so if that's not your thing it's probably best to choose something else. However I would encourage anyone to try it with milk and enjoy this caramelly delight!

Delicious and not too sweet
I love salted caramel flavor. When this first came out, I got a sample and was immediately in love. The aroma fills the room, the flavor is not too sweet which I was worried because of the sugar crystals, and wasn't artificial flavored. When I finished my initial 2 oz, it was sold out so I searched for alternates and all of them fell short. They were all too sweet or so artificial. This tea is now one of my regular rotations of tea that I drink in the morning. I just hope it isn't out of stock for when I go to restock my own pantry.

Artificial Flavoring
This sounded so delicious. Then I steeped, and the artificial sweet flavoring was too persistent. I really!! wanted to like this tea. I tried brewing as a latte, and it still was too gross. There appears to be caramel pieces, but maybe there's something about them that doesn't hit like real caramel bits. I don't know what part of this tea took that artificial sweetner, but it was disappointing. I waited for the tea to cool and drink as a cold or iced tea. Unfortunately I had to throw it away, I couldn't escape the strange artificial taste.

I had such high hopes for this tea but honestly didnt really like it! I love caramel so much and this just doesnt taste like it at all. It has a decent amount of saltiness but needs more natural sweetness and deeper caramel flavor. Probably wont rebuy again, if you are expecting it to taste like caramel you wont like it
