I have PCOS and drink 2 cups of spearmint tea per day to offset its negative side effects - hirsutism, acne, and pelvic pain to name a few. Spearmint tea isn't the greatest tasting on its own &amp; i wanted something fruity to make it exciting. Insert this tea - one of my favorite mix-ins. Caffeine free so i can drink any time of day and fruity/refreshing but not annoyingly sweet, just like real raspberries (I'm impressed there are whole raspberries in this tea). This tea leans to the tart side instead of sweet in my opinion, with citrus undertones, but the raspberry is fairly potent. Every morning I put two teaspoons of this in my perfect steeper followed by 4 teaspoons organic spearmint. plus some honey and a slice of lime. However, I found it to be lacking that punch of flavor I was looking for, and it tasted watered down no matter how I prepared it. Fast forward to trying Raspberry Mojito, and I am in love! I feel like you get so much more flavor with less tea, and it doesn't need sweetener. I enjoyed this warm, then added ice when it started to cool, and I think the cold brought out even more of the mint flavor. It has a strong berry flavor to it but I do not taste anything like mint with it. This is like a raspberry fruit infusion. When I make it cold I put it in the strainer and put cold water in there and let it sit in the fridge over night and then take out the strainer add ice to the pitcher and it's ready. It's great hot as well. I am not too sure how it would be hot I have never tried it. Its more minty then raspberry but every now and then you get the hints of fruit. I will not say its definitely a raspberry taste but you do get fruit and mint. One thing you is with both this and the watermelon mint is you must like a mint tea. It has more of a mint flavor than raspberry. The flavor is pretty mild even when seeped for the full recommended time. It has a very pleasant aftertaste which I like a lot.
