Ever heard of a dirty chai? A great alternative to coffee, it’s usually a single or double shot of espresso and spiced black tea. Of course, we had to take it a step further – with chocolate. Mocha Chai is an Elephant Approved® tea with a unique chocolate-forward flavor and a spicy chai twist. Welcome to coco chai love.
What makes it great
Premium black tea base certified by Elephant Approved® – a non-profit organization working to reduce Human-Elephant Conflict in tea-producing regions worldwide.
Who says you have to choose between tea & coffee? This blend delivers the best of both worlds.
To be honest, it’s the Ghirardelli chocolate that does it for us.

Mocha Chai, strong, spicy, that's for me!
This tea is GREAT as a latte, with a tiny splash of half & half and cinnamon sprinkled on top. I also made this as an iced tea and I am getting more because I can enjoy this all year round! It's a little similar to "Espresso yourself" but I think it's got more of a creamy, chocolaty flavor. It's wonderful. If you enjoy a rich, spicy tea, this is something you'll really like and NOT get sick of. It truly is a rollercoaster of flavors. You sip it, then sip again and realize there are so many things going on. And they all put a smile on your face.

Weak Flavor That's Only Vaguely Cinnamon
Pretty disappointed in this one, to be honest. I love chocolate, I love coffee, I love other things like the mocha frappucinos - this was nothing like any of those. Very watered down and weak flavor that was only vaguely like cinnamon and nothing else. Glad I only bought the smallest bag to try it because I wouldn't buy this one again. I got the Brown Sugar Bourbon at the same time and that one was fantastic.

Very Mild Chi
This is a more mild chi than I am used to. It is still quite good, but when I think chi, I think of a spicy tea. It may be that I just haven't found the perfect balance of tea to water, or proper steep time.
I do like it much better as a tea late. A dash of Oat Milk goes perfectly.
My suggestion would be to steep longer, if you are looking for a more flavorful tea.

It definitely pulls a cinnamon smell, but with a leaning toward the spicy. Chai can be sweet and spicy, but I love this mocha chai with the chocolate added! I don't drink a lot of chai, but really enjoy this tea! Hope this helps!
