Merry Mistletoe Tea

I don't like sweetened teas, and I especially don't like the taste of artificial sweetener like Stevia, so I was wary of that. Fortunately, it actually wasn't too sweet...but it also had hardly any flavor. It was like I was drinking hot water that had perhaps been in the same room with an apple at one time. I tried a second batch steeping a little bit hotter and longer, but it didn't make much difference. So overall, the flavor was disappointingly a bit weak considering how many ingredients and flavors are packed into this. I'd tried a sample-sized portion of it which was slightly less apple-heavy - I think the full bag I got this time had a bit too much apple and it sometimes could overpower the other flavors, but that might have been the luck of the draw. To me it smells like Christmas and comfort. It kind of tastes like a spiced cider in a way. The only thing that I was not expecting and do not like myself is the added stevia.
