Dark chocolate orange is one of my favorite holiday flavors, and it smelled delicious in the tin and while brewing. I don't like sweetened or flavored teas, and this contains both added flavoring and stevia, so I was wary of that. Unfortunately, it was way too sweet for my tastes, and the only flavor that really pulled through strongly was the added orange flavoring, which reminded me of cold medicine like zicam, airborne, or vitamin c gummies. I wish DT would skip the flavoring and let the ingredients speak for themselves, because this definitely had potential. I wouldn't buy the full size.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-12-07</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-12-07" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="250694146"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">AnnTea</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Holy grail</span> <span itemprop="description">Listen, when I first tried this tea, I HATED it. Out of curiosity, I added almond milk&mdash;incredible. Yes, it&rsquo;s got two very strong flavor notes that are bitter upon first taste. I definitely wouldn&rsquo;t recommend this tea to those who like extremely sweet flavors. To me, this tea is in the same realm as coffee. It&rsquo;s bitter on first taste, but then develops into an earthy and subtly sweet flavor paradise. This tea is easily my number one. PLEASE do not discontinue it, DavidsTea!!! For reference, my favorite way to drink it is in an iced tea latte format with almond milk. I usually steep 3 spoons of tea for five minutes with 8 oz of water, fill a favorite tumbler 2/3 full of ice, and fill the rest with almond milk.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-10-16</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-10-16" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="252209863"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Hfish</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Perfect holiday tea</span> <span itemprop="description">Remember those chocolate oranges you used to get in your stocking? But no, it smells great; you get that beautiful aroma of the orange and chocolate, but the taste is not so much that great. It's difficult to explain but it's weird, like perfume, maybe. Definitely doesn't taste as great as it smells. I haven't tried it with Almond Milk, however. I tried it twice just in case, the second time removing almost all of the orange peel pieces from the 2 perfect scoops, and it still was way too overwhelmingly orange.. Bitter orange. There was no chocolate flavor at all, just disgusting bitter orange flavor. Tried to add honey, sugar, or some milk just to see if anything could save it but I ended up dumping both cups out. Would absolutely not recommend unless they fix this.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2022-10-18</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2022-10-18" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="254613570"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">4</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Jen Ho</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Interesting</span> <span itemprop="description">I like this tea, I lowered the stars by one because I think the name mis-represents it. Although it might be there very subtlety, I get no chocolate flavor, the orange is so strong it takes over most everything else. I drink this one with just a hint of honey and to me it tastes like a complex orange liquor (???) I know that sounds strange but that&rsquo;s the taste. I tried adding milk once and then it went a little creamsicle. I drink this one occasionally when I want something bright and a little different.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2022-02-11</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2022-02-11" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="259714163"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">BigFloppa</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Chocolate Oranges</span> <span itemprop="description">This one tastes just like those chocolate oranges by Terry's, and it's really good too.
