I stored it in a cool dark place in an air tight container the minute I bought it like all my other teas to preserve it's shelf life and it began molding within a month. I never had an issue like this before so I am hoping it was just a bad batch because I love this tea and was so sad to have to throw it out.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2019-05-30</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2019-05-30" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="226663268"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">2</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">BaileyBee</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Watery Apples</span> <span itemprop="description">I got this in one of the christmas kits and saw it have a &quot;Apple cinnamon&quot; descriptor under it. When I read the ingredients it had no cinnamon, or clove, or any spice to really make this a cider. I let it steep for 10 minutes like I do with most of my herbals, but this one just didn't hit any notes besides watery, unripe, apples. With a name like Apple Cider I was expecting some spice in it. Even if it were labeled some other kind of tea it just isn't that good in my opinion.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2019-12-05</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2019-12-05" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="252195745"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">2</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">NoCider</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Artificial Apple Flavor = Jolly Rancher</span> <span itemprop="description">I got a sample of this in the David's Tea advent calendar. I expected a light apple flavor with a hint of creaminess from the vanilla and cream flavoring. What I got is straight-up &quot;green apple jolly rancher.&quot; It has a sickly-sweet artificial apple taste, and honestly not much else. I brewed about 1 tsp for 5 minutes. There's also nothing cider-like about it - no cinnamon, clove, etc. If you're a green apple candy flavor fan, or even a caramel apple fan, you might like it. But it definitely doesn't taste anything like cider, and I wouldn't purchase it.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-12-03</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-12-03" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="220224418"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">4</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Appiegirl2010</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Apple bubblegum</span> <span itemprop="description">It is a nice tea, really like it. This tasted disgustingly sweet and very sour. Like a rotten green apple jolly rancher. And I love apple cider. This was a huge disappointment. What I&rsquo;ve found is that this tea is surprisingly strong when you steep it according to the packaging, and tastes exactly how people are describing, sour with a weird after taste. However, what I&rsquo;ve found works best with this tea is to use a smaller amount of it, about a teaspoon is all you need, if you use a perfect scoop it will just come out way too strong, since that&rsquo;s about a tablespoon. If you are sparring with this tea, however, you will get a delicious cup of tea with a light cinnamon apple flavor, that pairs really nicely with a bit of milk. I&rsquo;ve also found this isn&rsquo;t a tea you should over-steep, 5 minutes is plenty of time, don&rsquo;t double it, or again, it will come out sour. If you&rsquo;ve tried this tea in the past and didn&rsquo;t like it, try brewing it this way and see if your opinion changes, hope this was able to help someone enjoy this tea!</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-08-18</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-08-18" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="225061353"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Vickie678</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Delicious cider!!</span> <span itemprop="description">A great no-calorie, low-sugar option for Apple cider!!
