So happy this tea exists!
I crave pine/fir flavored things during the holidays, and there just aren't enough of them. So, I was so happy to see DT release this gem.The prominent flavor is definitely the blueberry/raspberry flavoring, but I also get a bit of tartness from the cranberry, some earthiness from the pine, and a bit of coolness in the aftertaste from the wintergreen. I do wish that there wasn’t any of the berry flavorings added, as that would’ve made it perfect for me. It’s also such a beautiful tea. I was so giddy watching it steep. It looks like a Scandinavian forest floor.

A taste of winter
Wintergreen Wonderland: a musing.
The smell: Simply put, Christmas. Without other comparison, it’s when you first bring home that freshly cut Christmas tree and the aroma fills the room. Delightful.
The taste: I had it hot. I steeped it for 6-7 minutes. It’s has a slight minty/evergreen /fir vibe at first, then a smooth berry finish. It’s very delicate, no note too overpowering.
The verdict. 7.5/10. it’s a light fluffy tea that is gorgeous to looks at. 4oz/100g should be enough for me for the winter. I really enjoy it, but don’t see me drinking it any other time. However, because of the berry component, I need to try it iced...
Lastly, if anyone remembers berry refreshing, it has aspects of that to me. Enjoy!
