<span itemprop="description">Yes while Candy Cane Crush is one of my favorites, this will always hold a special place in my heart. It was one of the first holiday teas I ever tried from DAVIDsTEA. It is a lighter blend, not lighter as in a light flavor, but as in not too indulgent, because it focuses on the rich boldness from the black tea, a nice hint of peppermint not to weak, not to overpowering, and the subtlest hint of vanilla sweetness from the candy cane sprinkles. It's a flavor profile that works amazingly as a latter, or just black with no sweetener. Not too sweet at all and with a great peppermint flavor, Santa's Secret will forever be a holiday staple in my house.</span>

The peppermint is not overpowering (how you would typically expect in most teas w/ peppermint) leaving equal room for the black tea and vanilla flavors to come through. Also sweet enough on its own, I did not add any honey. I love it!</span>

<span itemprop="description">After trying this tea, I stocked up on more. That light peppermint flavor is just enough to add a nice zing to this tea, and it smells so good. The little candy canes are so cute. I love drinking this hot in the morning, after my coffee or in place of it. I find if I drink it in the evening, the caffeine interferes with my sleep. That's probably specific to my chemistry, but something to keep in mind.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I tried this tea and personally found it somewhat of a disappointment. I prefer my tea to have a lot of flavor and/or aromatics to it. I generally hate breakfast teas, but I cannot live without a true unadulterated organic Earl Grey tea. My go to for a something calming is an organic estate grown Darjeeling. However, when it comes to flavors I love David's Teas - Blackberry Blizzard, Caramel Shortbread, Magic Potion, Choco Change, Lemon Cayenne, Apple Cider...things that pack a punch with a delightful aroma. Sanda's Secret failed to make the grade and I would choose Candy Cane Crush over it every time, without hesitation. However, if you are the type of person looking for more subtle flavor and prefers something less forward, than this tea is likely for you.</span>

I tend to avoid black tea due to its rich-bodied earthly overtones, but the addition of peppermint and smoothly vanilla really mellowed this tea out and it's now one of my favorite teas. If you're a fan of smooth peppermint, try this out! I also add a mini candy cane sometimes...perfect, and extra sweet and minty!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I'm a big fan of black teas and peppermint but this was a miss for me. The peppermint flavor is subtle and the tea is very bland and flavorless. Honestly am surprised by the high rating. There are dozens of amazing flavors to choose from but Santa's Secret is not one of them.</span>

There are tiny little candy cane sprinkles in the tea. As far as I know, this is the ONLY sugar in the tea. I'm not sure it's enough to make a difference if one has diabetes, for instance, but if you're concerned about caloric intake, I can assure you, this will not make much difference if you're only drinking one or 2 cups of this a day. If you're making a latte, it may, because we're required to use three times the amount of regularly used tea in a latte. Trust me, you want to make this as a latte, it's delicious with frothed oatmilk!

yes!!! santa&rsquo;s secret does come in sachets, i usually go with the box of 25 if they have it. you can always check in the website and just look up the flavor you want and then it will show all the products in that flavor. I am unsure of the price but i know there&rsquo;s usually different amounts of it! :)
