So I ordered more and then picked this up while I was making an order. Once I got it, I tried it and upon opening it, it smelled almost of...curry...? Definitely gave off heavy curry-type vibes. Nothing close to the way I felt when smelling Candy Cane Matcha. I thought, well, must be the gingerbready flavors and maybe they&rsquo;ll taste better than they smell. Nope. Not really. I can&rsquo;t say it tastes like curry but that&rsquo;s what I think of when I&rsquo;m drinking it. I gave it 2 stars because it was drinkable and not totally awful. I will still finish off the iconic tin of it that I have but I will not repurchase. No shade to DT, just not my personal cup of tea. Hope someone out there finds joy with it. I think this tea is quite delicious so I bought a tin but was so surprised when I got it home and read that it takes 5-7 teaspoonfuls to make ONE serving. There's no way I will get 5 cups of tea from this tin; I have used only 4 teaspoonfuls per serving, have made 3 cups so far, and there's only enough for one more. It's too close to a curry taste. They hit it on the head with that one. I couldn't figure out what it tasted like. Wish I would have gotten the larger tin of candy cane instead.
