It tasted like there was something missing - something about the way the sweetness from the marshmallows mixed with the black tea base tasted not sweet enough while also having a too sugary aftertaste. It was also slightly too bitter. I decided to try it again with some almond milk and BAM! Suddenly it's one of the best teas I've had here! The milk makes the sugary taste seem more balanced and there's not much of an aftertaste. It has a spot on sweet potato flavor with nutmeg, cinnamon, and nuttiness to balance it out. The marshmallow and brown sugar give it a semi sweetness and creaminess, but it's not overly sweet like some of their other dessert teas. This one obviously doesn't have a crust taste to it, so it tastes more like a sweet potato casserole with cinnamon and brown sugar. I truly can't say enough good things about this tea, especially brewed as a latte- it's nutty, perfectly spiced, and the squash is balanced perfectly. It's the right amount of sweet (and no stevia, yay!), and just the right amount of savory, to make it taste just like a sweet potato pie. I had a few family members over recently and they raved about this tea over the others I bought and tasted. I enjoy this tea as a latte, primarily done in 2 ways.
