There&rsquo;s been a few I haven&rsquo;t been in love with but none I would leave a bad review for as it comes down to personal preferences. However this tea is awful. The second I poured it into my mug I though oh no based on the smell. It almost smells like chemicals. I don&rsquo;t know if I have an old batch or what but the mint and chocolate (usually a combo I don&rsquo;t mind) was not it. It tasted worse than it smelled, which I cannot even find words to explain. If you like mint they have other great mint teas and same with chocolate. The scent lingers. It's a strong chemical smell. I made one cup about 5 minutes ago then I threw it down the sink. I thought maybe it would smell better if I made a cup of tea and I was wrong. I considered drinking it but I realized that if I did drink it, that scent would be with me for hours. It's way too aromatic. Besides that, I repeat, it smells chemically unnatural. This tea thought me to observe the reviews before I make any purchase. Try something heavenly like 'Let it snow', or 'CANDY CANE CRUSH'. I love that tea. Maybe 'Pomegrateful' too. It's delightful. Have a nice day. It has a very strong offputting smell, the mint is way overpowering, and the &quot;chocolate&quot; adds absolutely nothing. This is not a minty chocolatey treat that they described. If you can muscle past the smell, it leaves just the worst aftertaste, like plastic mint. The smell remains throughout the entire brewing and drinking process, which makes it hard to drink it. The taste is definitely better than the smell, but the smell is very overpowering. I have been drinking it for years and every winter I buy enough to last me for a year. When the stores were still open, I literally had them give me everything remaining in the huge tin when the season ended. I drink other teas but this is the only one I must always have on hand. I am really surprised about the bad reviews&mdash;it must have been a bad batch. I tried brewing it and it only intensified the smell to my entire kitchen and the flavor of the tea was sour/bitter/fake tasting. When I tried to return it to the store they told me they did not stock the tea and refused to give me store credit. It was almost as if they were accusing me of trying to sell them a product that I had bought from a different company entirely the way they acted so surprised that I would want store credit for it. I'm not even asking for my money back, which I would prefer, because I'm only following the return policy. I was very disappointed, as the description of the tea sounds lovely and it is very cute in the container but the smell/taste is so awful. Also very disappointed with the customer service...I used to love their tea but DavidsTea has only gotten more expensive and less pleasant to deal with in the past several years.
