The lychee flavor is like that of a lychee candy, rather than the actual fruit, but still definitely lychee. There is also a strong strawberry note, which lends itself to the sweetness. There was surprisingly not any tartness from the strawberry like can often happen with strawberry teas. Not much of the black tea base coming through because the juicy sweetness dominates. Great with caffeine and it can be steeped about twice. It doesn't taste like anything. I followed the instructions on the bag about how hot to make the water and how long to steep it. I actually halved the amount of water (it says 16oz I think and I used 8-10) and did 2 perfectea spoons.
