spice it up
This organic Assam black tea with Saigon cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves and pink peppercorns is on another level of delicious. In the 19s, Saigon cinnamon was one of the finest spices on the market. But then came the Vietnam War, and exports ground to a halt. Now it’s comeback time. Try this dark, sweet perfection as a spicy iced tea, Viet-style, with sweetened condensed milk.
What makes it great
In India, “chai” just means “tea” and “masala” means “spiced” – so the real name for a spiced tea is a “masala chai.”
Potent Saigon Cinnamon has the most cinnamon oil of any spice.

Basically Cinnamon Water
I am an avid chai tea drinker and I try chai from many different brands. I received this tea as a present this past Christmas. Each of the many times I had this tea I was disappointed. I like chai because of the balance between cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and peppercorn. Unfortunately, this chai consistently tastes like weak cinnamon water, regardless of how long you steep it. I thought this chai would be one of the best based on the reviews, but I am sad to say that if you like a balanced chai tea, this isn't it. Even though the cinnamon flavoring is the last ingredient, it's the only one you taste.

Almost Perfect
This is definitely one of the most traditional chais DavidsTea offers, and luckily it does provide on that promise. The scent of the tea leaves is amazing—even though I buy chais for autumn, the scent itself reminded me of the winter holidays. The tea itself is incredibly well-rounded and holds up well for multiple infusions. There's a perfect amount of spice that isn't too overwhelming if you're not a fan of that. My only problem is the flavoring used in it. It leaves a heavy feel in my mouth and an unpleasant aftertaste. I would strongly recommend DavidsTea remove the flavoring from this recipe; it does more harm than good. If the tea needs a vanilla or creamy kick to it, I'd recommend adding vanilla pieces. But otherwise, this is definitely going to be a tea I reorder in the fall and winter months after I run out.

Great Chi tea
I love this tea! The only issue is it’s inconsistent from cup to cup. I love it when I get the cardamom pods in it because it gives it this amazing depth of flavor and brings it together. The problem I think people have going through the reviews is over what they got in their scoop of tea. Maybe if they cut the cardamom pods or something . If you shake up the bag before you scoop any especially the first time because the cardamom seems to be on top.
You can get a ton of peppercorns in one cup and very few in the next so it goes from very spicy to not spicy . Idk I’m now careful about it so I get it pretty even each time .
This is absolutely one of my favorite teas from David’s Teas

One of my favorites
This is one of my very favorite teas, the balance of flavors and scent for me is perfect and the only downside is that my budget forces me to ration this rather than drinking it constantly. But that's not the tea's fault! In fact, my husband has said a time or two that this might be the tea that convinces him to become a tea drinker. So there you have it - so good it can convert tea haters!

Super Aromatic
Do I love this tea? No. BUT I would still recommend it to tea lovers everywhere. Like any chai, it has a lot of different spices in it (cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, etc). In comparison to other chai, the Saigon cinnamon really pushes it to the next level just in terms of fragrance strength. It's not like drinking perfume, in fact I actively drink it, but it smells so strongly that I usually wait between sips and don't finish it because it gets cold and always have a few gulps worth at the bottom of my mug. I'd happily empty the bag into a decorative bowl and use it as potpourri.
