Excellent intro to traditional tea
I am just beginning to get into tea, and I mostly enjoy chai and matcha (both with milk) and fruit infusions. I wanted to try a more traditional tea with caffeine to transition from my morning coffee. While my taste still hasn't adjusted fully to the taste of traditional, plain tea, this blend is incredible with almond milk and a little sweetener. It's robust and full, so it feels similar to coffee in the morning, but with the benefit of tea. I also like that this is a lighter weight blend, so I get more in a 2 oz. package than a lot of my fruit teas. I can't speak to its similarity to a true earl grey, but I must say, this tea newbie is impressed!

Tastes fake and burnt
This is what I get for not checking ingredients before purchasing. The creme earl grey flavoring is just off. Usually, I find creme earl greys that are flavored with bergamot and cream separately, and that works well. This was the first time I've had a blend with an all encompassing flavoring and wow...what a flop. Truly disappointed. On top of the weird artificial flavor twang I got in the sip, it also tastes crazy burnt. I've now tried this blend thrice, following the steep instructions on the package as well as once trying a different temp. My partner has had it once. Both of us, every time, get an unpleasant burnt taste mingling with the artificialness.

No Earl Grey Flavor to be Found
I tried a sample of this in the David's Tea advent calendar. I enjoy a cup of Earl Grey once in a while, which is just black tea with bergamot oil. I was interested in trying this "creamy" version with vanilla flavoring - maybe it would be like a London Fog? But oof - off the bat, it smells like the "cream" has gone rotten, and didn't improve once brewed. I brewed a teaspoon at 200 for 3 minutes. The taste isn't much at all besides a hint of artificial cream flavor? There's zero astringency - almost like there wasn't tea in it at all - and as others have said, not even a faint hint of bergamot which is what makes Earl Grey what it is. It's like they forgot to add the flavoring to this batch. I definitely wouldn't purchase the full size.

Not for Classic Earl Grey Lovers
I like a little sweetness in my tea, and Earl Grey is my favorite type of black tea. So, originally, I figured I would love this tea. Unfortunately, I really did not like it at all. It smells like perfume and tastes like it too. There's no complexity that I usually love from Earl Grey -- the slight spice from the bergamot with the smoothness of the black tea. All I tasted was very artificial (almost candle-like) vanilla and black tea. I wanted to like this one but I just really, really don't.

Different from what I expected!
I bought this to try out David's tea and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I was a little nervous getting it because of the reviews being either extremely in favor or the opposite. I enjoyed unique smell combined with the taste. The tea smells very creamy and almost milky but the taste is not as strong. The teas itself is very smooth and does not leave a bad aftertaste. Like a lot of reviews mentioned I do not think it tastes very much like earl gray but it is nevertheless very tasty.
