They let me try it, and I was very impressed, which led me to purchase my own. The only discrepancy I noticed is that they had the pink version of this tea (with beetroot) and I have the other version. I very much prefer the version with beetroot, and was a bit surprised when my tea came out a strong, dark yellow instead of the pink I was used to, despite ordering the tea with beetroot for the both of us. Other than the mishap, I believe this tea is great both hot and iced, and has a light, refreshingly fruity taste. I very much like the addition of pineapple and strawberries to the mango flavour.
Date published: 2021-01-12

Rated 3 out of 5 by Melmie from Not what I expected... First of all, the 2 oz bag was barely half-full and it was a lot emptier than other teas I've purchased. It felt like I didn't get my money's worth so that was disappointing. As for the taste, I love mango so I was really looking forward to trying this, but it had an unpleasant artificial taste. It's like they tried too hard to make it like a punch. I tried it both iced and hot and that artificial taste was too overwhelming in both. In the end, I found that adding honey masks that unpleasant taste and makes the tea taste decent. I could finish the rest of the bag but I wouldn't buy it again. Another thing, their picture showed that it steeps bright pink but mine steeped a yellow-orange color. Not really sure what's up with that.
Date published: 2020-10-26

Rated 5 out of 5 by CVW237 from Different recipe? After reading some of the reviews on Mango Fruit Punch, it looks like the recipe was reworked at some point and there’s two different versions floating around. The older version (steeps yellow) and the newer version (steeps red). I ordered this bag on 1/6/2021 and it looks like I received the older version so that is what I will be reviewing. I’ve also included some photos for reference. As with all fruit infusions (especially when there are a lot of fruit chunks) I steeped this for a long time (about an hour). The color is a bright mango yellow and the flavor is like a light herbal tea with some fresh mango juice added. It’s so smooth and refreshing. In comparison to Tropic Tango, this has more of a mango flavor and isn’t creamy. Tropic Tango is more of a punch to me whereas this one is straight up mango. It’s fresh, a little tart and lightly sweet. Delicious iced! I bet this would be amazing with champagne.
Date published: 2021-01-20

Rated 2 out of 5 by Banncroftt from Not the same I bought Mango Fruit Punch (which is still in my wishlist as an unavailable item) in April and it was *perfection*. Was bummed when It was no longer available but when I searched for it I found this one, thought it was the same thing and ordered. I was wrong. This Mango Fruit Punch is toned down and not nearly as flavorful as the original. It pales in comparison and feels like a cheap imitation. It’s still OK. But doesn’t have that perfect sweet/tart balance that the original had. I even tried using MORE of the tea in my steep but that doesn’t help.
Date published: 2020-09-09

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Quickly Becoming a Classic! The recipe has changed a teensy bit since I first fell in love with this blend, but I still love it just as much. It used to steep yellow, but the beetroot they added gives it a nice pink color to help play on the whole "fruit punch" aspect of the drink. The flavor is just as good too, you can hardly tell the difference. I really hope you keep it around for years to come.
