One of the Best Nutty Teas
Forever Nuts is definitely one of my favorite David's Teas and a staple in my home. The nuttiness is incredible and the tea steeps to a vibrant pink color like no other tea I've seen. The only drawback to this tea is that I find you don't get a good bang for your buck, since the pieces in the tea are so large, a 2oz bag doesn't go as far as most other teas. Nonetheless, I severely hope this tea doesn't ever get discontinued like some of my other favorite nutty teas, like Nutty & Spice and Bubbie's Baklava.

Delicious
I received this tea and one of my samples and I made it as a latte. I tried the tea on its own and I can taste the apple and the strussel flavor they were going for. Very sweet and satisfying. I have heard countless good feedback on this tea and I would honestly repurchase. I even love the sweet pink color it steeped to. I recommend you try it and you won’t be let down. I don’t think I have ever had a tea or latte quite like this. It was very unique and tasty.

Good but too much apple
I like this tea a lot, but the longer it steeps the more it just tastes like apple tea. The nutty flavor is stronger at first, but then it really goes away quickly and is barely and afternote. I get a little annoyed that it seems like so many David's teas have apple (and/or other fruits) in them, including the flavors that are supposed to be nutty. I don't always want the fruity taste. I want the nutty taste! The apple easily overwhelms in this tea. It's a great cinnamon apple tea. It's not really a nut-forward tea unless you steep a short time and drink right away.

Nice dessert tea, best enjoyed as tea latte!
At first, I completely overlooked this tea on the website because nuts aren’t really my thing and fruit infusions even less so. However, after looking around some more and constantly stumbling over this tea in other reviews and recommendations (and realizing it supposedly tastes like a cinnamon bun in a cup, which would be right up my alley) I decided to cave in and get it, too.
I got the small 101g printed tin and it is so cute and seals so well! Really adore that. The tea only fills up roughly half of the tin, which is a bit of a shame, but at the same time that just means if I ever get a refill, I can buy more of it and still fit it in the tin.
First off: It really smells divine. Sweet and nutty and like cinnamon, it already reminds of a cinnamon bun and if I could, I would probably bathe in this because it just smells soooo delicious!!
As Hot Tea:
I know this tea is celebrated as tea latte, but I wanted to try it as normal hot tea first, just to see what it was like.
While steeping, it spread that wonderful cinnamon bun smell throughout the room and turned a strong pinkish-red color. I tried steeping it twice to see whether a second steep would be possible, and while it is waaaaayy milder and weaker, it is still drinkable and tastes like a watered-down cinnamon bun. So, not ideal, but possible, if you want to get the most out of your tea blend.
(Also, this IS a fruit infusion, which generally aren’t great for re-steeps, so the fact that I can re-steep this tea at all already says a lot about the quality!)
As normal hot tea, it tastes nice, but not nearly as smooth or cinnamon bun-y as it has the potential to be. I decided midway through the cup to add some (oat) milk, and that made the entire experience way better.
So: Add milk, or drink it as tea latte from the get-go to get the most out of this tea!
As Tea Latte:
My next try was making a tea latte as per DT instructions, using 4 perfect spoons and frothed milk (lactose-free, low-fat). I tried two steeps again just to see the difference and because I did it on autopilot (I tend to re-steep all my regular teas). For the first one I used 95° water and let it steep for 6 minutes until it had that nice pinkish red color again, much stronger than in the hot tea version because of the more concentrated form.
After adding the frothed milk, the tea immediately turns the light pink color that can also be seen here and throughout the review section, and it smells just as divine as it looks. (This is coming from someone who doesn’t like pink btw.)
Taste-wise it is much better than the normal hot tea version, even with the added milk it didn’t have this richness in flavor. It really does taste like a cinnamon bun in a cup, and feels a lot like a drinkable treat. Definitely good for people with a sweet tooth!
The second steep I did with 100° water and for almost 10 minutes, and while it was a liiiiiittle lighter in color, the smell and taste were almost indistinguishable. After adding the frothed milk, you wouldn’t be able to tell the two apart by looks alone, and it only tastes a little milder.
So, if you want to re-steep your teas like I tend to do, you can do it even with this fruit infusion! Just need to use 4 perfect spoons, or more in general for a more concentrated cup.
I’m not going to try this iced, but I’m certain that would taste great also. I just think I’ll prefer it hot, and as a latte, so I’ll probably use up the rest of my 100g for that.
Who would I recommend this tea to?
I would recommend this to someone who has a sweet tooth and/or generally likes sweet teas and who favors tea lattes over normal hot teas. Also, anybody who enjoys cinnamon buns or other cinnamon-centric treats and sweets but doesn’t necessarily want an overwhelmingly cinnamon-y flavor.

My only problem is that the smell doesnt translate into the flavor as strong as i wouldve preffered. It's not weak by any means but just kinda wished there was a little more.

This is one of my very favorites! The almond taste is undeniable, but apple and cinnamon are just as present and it all combines into one cozy cup of tea. I drink this often, both as hot and iced, and it's delicious either way.....no sweetener needed. It's a lovely unexpected shade of pink as well.
