Calling all matcha lovers!

This exquisite stone-ground matcha is like the unicorn of the green tea world. What makes it so rare? Not just that it’s made by removing every little vein from the highest quality tencha leaves. It’s also 100% organic! Japan has so few organic tea gardens that getting our hands on a top-notch organic matcha wasn’t easy. But we made it happen – bigtime. This one hails from Nishio, a region with an 800-year reputation as the world’s finest matcha producer. And with its fresh aroma, velvety-smooth mouthfeel and sweet, creamy notes of whipped butter, every sip is a luxury.

This matcha green tea powder comes packed in a printed tea tin that's giftable too!

Even ordered ceremonial organic matcha directly from Japan &amp; David's matcha stands up to many far pricier products in terms of quality, flavor &amp; amount of product. Silky smooth on the palate w/no bitterness. Prepared in a larger matcha bowl w/a 120 prong whisk &amp; the right water temp &amp; the result is a thick dense blanket of foam. Add in some oat or almond milk w/Manuka honey &amp; it's fabulous! (If drinking for health reasons do not add dairy. Dairy significantly reduces the health benefits. Only thing I would change would be the foil packaging. Now product is transferred to a small ultraviolet jar &amp; refrigerated.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-05-21</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-05-21" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="223529213"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Sanja Jo.</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">What happened to ceremonial matcha?</span> <span itemprop="description">I have been an fan and customer of DT, and I've had ceremonial matcha for years. I can't quite comprehend how the quality has changed so much. It used to be creamy, rich in flavor and it mixed so well. Now I find it very bland, it does not mix well, i keep getting clumps of matcha no matter how well i whisk it. I am definetly returning this. Even grand cru gasted better than this. It's horrible. And I dislike that you made it prepackaged, it did nothing to preserve freshness, only tastes cheaper and can not compare to the ceremonial matcha from a few years back.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2019-08-20</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2019-08-20" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="237650266"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">GiGia</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Pretty Happy!</span> <span itemprop="description">I bought this last week after months-long infatuation with iced matcha lattes made by some well known coffee companies. For those of you looking for iced matcha lattes, this it it! I just made my first one. I highly recommend 1 tsp. matcha (whisk into a thin paste in the bowl, then strain) to 1 cup of your milk of choice. I added 3 pumps of vanilla. I need to tweak mine to get it right, but this matcha is definitely good. The only thing I'm not thrilled about is the packaging... there was way more on the outside of the seal and once I cut it to open it, I lost a good amount. I don't think I would mind if the matcha weren't so pricy, so beware when opening. I do recommend this though, great place for beginners to start!</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-10-07</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-10-07" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="231134526"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Matchadc</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">excellent quality</span> <span itemprop="description">No bitter aftertaste shows this is the best of the tea leaf.
