Magisso Lippa Tea Infuser
You’ll flip your lid over this handy floating infuser. Made of fine laser cut stainless steel, it was specially designed to keep small tea leaves in place, while giving larger teas plenty of room to expand. <span itemprop="description">I've had this for about a week and I still don't love it. I had a different diffuser in my cart but it went out of stock so I had to go with this one.
I like that the diffuser floats in the tea and you can easily pick it up with the grip top, but I don't like having to flip it over. It's messy, tea tends spill, I have to wait for it to cool before disposing of the leaves.
Overall, it's good quality. I'm not sure if the plastic top is made environmentally friendly, but that is something I'll consider in the future.
I wouldn't buy this again.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I really wanted to like this. The tea infuser is small and easy to to pack for traveling. The tea "infuses" perfectly. However, it is messy when you take it out of the cup and turn it over. I haven't mastered not dripping it on the table and the hot tea is HOT when it drips on you. I am going to keep it for a back up, but it just isn't my favorite infuser.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This filter is light years better than the tea ball with the greenish blue rubber around it. The ball broke after a few months of light use. The rubber tore loose and leaked loose tea a lot. This tea infuser is holding up great! It does not leak loose tea and it allows for good expansion. I like that it floats so I can pull it out of the cup when I am ready to drink my tea. It seals tight and the mesh is very fine so water passes through but not the tea. I really didn’t know what to expect when I bought this to replace the tea ball, but have been very happy with this purchase. I use it frequently because it works so well.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I was quite excited to try this tea infuser, but have been disappointed by it. I’m a bit sheepish to admit that as - looking at the many five-star reviews - my dislikes might be more linked to user error. There is one other three-star review with identical concerns to mine, though, so I’m not a complete anomaly.
I have two concerns:
1) when I make a cup of tea (several a day for around two decades), I put the infuser in the mug and then pour the boiling water over it. Naturally, that’s how I used this infuser. I quickly realized that was a mistake. The top of the lippo infuser was full of very hot water and to get it out I had to put my fingers into the hot water (which is not particularly hygienic as it is, but it was a cup for me) and nearly burned my fingers. Alternatively I could have gotten a spoon to scoop it up with but I make my tea in the kitchen and go to another room, so don’t expect to do that. (Now I know to pour the hot water in before putting in the tea infuser or carefully pouring the water next to the tea infuser in the cup so it doesn’t go on the top.)
2) The claim that the lid serves as a drip-catching saucer when flipped over also hasn’t worked well for me. Hot tea is dripping out until it’s completely flipped over - resulting in drips on the table and nearly burns one’s hands.
As an aside, it’s fairly large - just an FYI.
The pros include that there is plenty of room in the infuser for the tea leaves to move and expand, so that’s nice. Additionally, I think (but haven’t tried) that it would perfect to use with a tea pot without a built-in tea infuser/strainer.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Wonderful infuser. The only drawback is the maintenance. The device can be hard to clean. I would recommend that you rinse the tea while it is still wet so that it doesn’t dry to the sides and become extremely difficult to wash out. Outside of that, I enjoy this product.</span>

The infuser is 3.25&quot; tall and about 1.5&quot; in diameter. I use it for single mug use but you could certainly use it in a tea pot as it would definitely hold the amount of loose tea for that. It's well-made and easy to use.
