About the Box

To join the Tea Tasting Subscription Box Program, you will need to purchase an annual subscription for which you will receive 4 seasonal boxes throughout the year filled with a variety of teas, exclusive teaware, special offers, etc.
You can subscribe for 1 year and receive 4 seasonal boxes.
We love tea, but not spoilers! The specifics of the box will remain a surprise for you or the person you are gifting it to. What we can tell you is that there will be a variety of teas (including some sneak peeks!), exclusive teaware, special offers, exclusive access to our Tea Tasting Club, and so much more!
You will purchase a subscription for 1 year (total of 4 boxes) and the subscription will automatically end after the 4th box. You can then choose to renew for another year!
The subscription is currently a year-long experience with 4 boxes total. If you wish, you can choose to unsubscribe at any time.
You do not! You will receive all new items and teas in every box.
We do not offer customization options for our subscription boxes at this time.
You can expect a box once every 3 months, starting January 8th, 2021.
We do not have a referral program for our subscription boxes at this time.
This will depend on the tea you are looking to purchase. Some will be available on our website for you to purchase right away and some teas included in your box will be sneak peek teas that will not be available until a later date. Please make sure you are subscribed to the DAVIDsTEA newsletter to be the first to know when the sneak peek teas are launching!
Spring Box → March 21st
Summer Box → June 20th
Fall Box → September 19th
Holiday Box → December 12th
The booklet included in your subscription box will include instructions on how to steep each specific tea in your box! The water temperature and time will vary based on the blend and so check out the booklet to make sure you are steeping it just right!
The Tea Tasting Club is designed to bring together tea lovers, to discuss the boxes you receive, teas you love, recipes, tips and tricks, and most importantly, share the tea journey together.
This exclusive Facebook group is open to all customers who purchased or were gifted a subscription box. There will be instructions on how to join in the box you receive!
You will receive a booklet with your subscription box with instructions included on how to join the Tea Tasting Club Facebook group.

Billing

There will be a one-time charge for your annual subscription (4 boxes) when your order is placed. You will receive a confirmation email once your order is placed.
If you place your order on the Canadian website, you will be billed in CAD. If you place your order on the American website, you will be billed in USD.
Visit www.davidstea.com and login to your account using the “My Account” icon in the top right corner.
Once you are signed in and on your account page, select “My subscriptions” listed on the left-hand side.
Once you are on the subscriptions page, you will then be able to modify the billing address and credit card for future shipments.
Don’t forget to click “Save changes” at the bottom of the form to ensure all new information is saved!
Please note that your billing address and payment method cannot be changed on the current order once it is placed but can be changed for all future shipments within the subscription.
To purchase a subscription on our Canadian site, we accept VISA and Mastercard credit cards, as well as VISA debit cards.
To purchase a subscription on our US site, we accept VISA, Mastercard and American Express credit cards, as well as VISA debit cards.
We do not accept discount codes to be used on subscription boxes.

Shipping

Shipping is free with the purchase of your box!
Once your subscription box is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. Just enter that number on the carrier’s website to see your tracking information.

If there is a problem with your order, please fill out our Contact Us form. You can also reach our Customer Experience team by phone at 1-855-702-3006, or by chat from 9am to 9pm EST, Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 5pm EST on Saturday and Sunday.
Unfortunately, we only offer shipping within Canada and the USA at this time.

If you are Canadian and want to ship to a US address, you can visit https://www.davidstea.com/us_en/home/ to place your order, and still be able to use a Canadian billing address. Note that your order will be processed in USD if you place your order to be shipped to a US address.
If you are American and want to ship to a Canadian address, you can visit https://www.davidstea.com/ca_en/home/ to place your order, and still be able to use an American billing address. Note that your order will be processed in CAD if you place your order to be shipped to a Canadian address.

Cancellations/Returns

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Please ensure that you cancel at least 10 days before your next box is planned to ship to receive a full refund for the remaining boxes.
If you would like to cancel your subscription, please fill out our Contact Us form. You can also reach our Customer Experience team by phone at 1-855-702-3006 from 9am to 5pm EST, Monday to Friday, or by chatting with us from 9am to 9pm EST, Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 5pm ET on Saturday and Sunday.
We do not currently accept returns or exchanges on our subscription boxes, nor any of the individual items within the box.
We currently cannot pause a subscription; however you can cancel and reactivate your subscription at any time.
If you cancelled your subscription and would like to reactivate, we invite you to go through the subscription steps again to re-enroll. Please note that re-enrolling will activate your subscription for another year (4 boxes).

Gifting

On the subscription box page, you will have the option to buy or gift a subscription box. If you would like to gift the subscription, please select “Gift”, and make sure you enter the correct applicable information for the gift recipients, including their full name and shipping address.
Once your order is confirmed, you will receive a link to a PDF Greeting Card for the subscription that you can print or send electronically to your gift recipient before they receive the box!
It’s a gift that keeps on giving! If someone in your life is a tea lover, or a newcomer who wants to discover the wonderful world of tea, then this is the gift for them! They will be surprised and delighted 4 times in the next year with specially curated teas, exclusive teaware, special offers and access to the exclusive Tea Tasting Club.
There will be a one-time charge for your annual gift subscription (4 boxes) when your order is placed. There will be no charges after the full payment is taken.
At this time, we do not offer corporate or bulk gifting of our subscription box.
